"Meera!", Radhika knocked over the door of her daughter's bedroom twice before twisting the knob and luckily the doow was not locked from inside.
Frowning over finding the whole bedroom empty alongwith bathroom, Radhika finally walked to the balcony and was confused seeing the tent kept in the corner of balcony. It was not there a day ago and now the whole thing was decorated beautifully with fairy lights and lighted stars.
Sliding aside the unzipped curtains, Radhika gasped as her eyes turned wide and cheeks red before she hurriedly turned around avoid looking the scene inside the tent anymore.
Inside, Meera was sleeping beside Vivaansh clutching his shirt in her smallfist, while Vivaansh had her caged in his arms with his one hand wrapped around her waist and other under her head like a pillow. The end of her saree was unpinned from her shoulder and was now leisurely covering Vivaansh's face under it, showing off Meera's fronts that was pressed hard onto his stout chest. Her face was dipped in the juncture between his right shoulder and neck, and his lips were touching her crown with the thin fabric still acting like a curtain between their faces. It was the scene of pure bliss.
Radhika without disturbing the couple decided to walk out of the room silently, however, her eyes widen when her leg accidentally hit the popcorn bowl that Meera had prepared for themselves last night and Vivaansh had later kept it out of the tent before going to sleep.
Radhika heard the sound of shuffle inside the tent for a minute before she saw Vivaansh and Meera coming out of it, together. However, the relief was that now Meera's attire was not unkempt anymore.
"Maa, aap...yahan?", Meera asked but felt stupid of herself for asking such question.
"Main tumhe breakfast ke liye bulane aayi thi.", Radhika informed before shifting her gaze to Vivaansh as she said with a small smile, "Mujhe nahi pata tha Jamai sa bhi hai tumhare saath."
"Maa woh Vivaansh ko kuch kaam tha mujhse bss isi liye...", Meera tried reasoning and all Vivaansh wanted to do was to hide his face because apparently his wife was only making the situation worst.
"Kaam tha toh phone bhi kar sakte the. kyun, jamai sa?", Radhika asked looking at Vivaansh, and Vivaansh could easily sense the tease behind Radhika's words.
"Uhh...I think I should leave. I have to get ready and then leave for office as well.", Vivaansh said caressing his nape that had turned red in embarrassment, while Meera looked at him with her eyes gloomy. He was leaving too soon.
