"I heard niggahs was looking for me, niggah here I go..."
_Young Dro
Kema
"Chauncy what in the hell is wrong with you?" I asked flopping in his chair. He looked like he was mad at the world and that was unusual.
Everything was always peaches and blossoms with him. He threw the cape around my shoulder. I crossed my legs preparing to hear the tea.
He looked around and then continued sewing my hair in. "I believe this bastards' cheating on me." He said weaving the needle through my hair.
"Who your New boo, already?" I asked raising my eyebrows.
"Sad to say but yes I think he is." He shook his head. "He always tell me that he's goung to his mother's house. He had been visiting this person I never met a little too much...Late nights. I ain't no fool." He said tossing the brush on the counter.
"Oh wow." I said all into the tea I was recieving.
"What are you doing at your mother's house at 3 o'clock in the damn morning? I asked was she sick. He told me she wasn't. Shit just ain't adding up Kema." He said with hurt in his voice.
"I'm gone find out." He said running his flat irons through my hair.
"Please do." I said getting up from the chair to kiss and hug him.
***********
It had been a while since I actually spent time with Tiana. I had let everything else consume my time. Jaylon was with me until his brother's breathing got better. Dimples was back and forth checking on them both.
I assured her that Jaylon was fine. That still didn't make a difference. She was so stressed. I was doing everything to help. Reggie wasn't making anything better. He was getting on my last nerves. Every-time he came to the hospital it was a problem.
I watched as Jaylon played with his race cars. Toddlers were a handful. He was time consuming. I didn't mind. He was a Angel compared to Jayden. Bless his heart. I'm glad that I don't have a toddler full time. Them days are over.
Dimples and I was back tight. I missed my Bitch. I have a low tolerance for everything especially criticizing my damn parenting.
"Are we gone watch this movie or what?" Joc asked handing me "The Purge".
"I was waiting on the pizza asshole. Stop being so fast." I threw a gummy worm at him.
Tiana flopped down on the Brown leather couch across from me. Darío was supposed to be here any second.
The doorbell rung. I got up to see who it was. My stomach was snapping at me.
I was hoping it was both the pizza and Darío's sexy ass. I peeped through the window by the door. It was Darío.
"Yesss." I said bringing my fist to my stomach in victory.
I swung open my heavy wooden door.
"Took long enough." I grin. He took me into his embrace. His cologne swarmed my nostrils. I took in every whiff of it.
He was wearing Levi Khakis and a black v-neck that compliments his chiseled chest.
His tattoos just made him look like a Columbian Adonis and the moonlight was growing on his bald head. I damn near melted.
"Did you miss me?" He asked looking down at me.
"You know I did." I moved aside for him to come in.
