Cry me a river

Chapter 1

After being silent for hours,the blonde omega finally decides to start a conversation with the other omega. He lets out an exhale and the black omega glances at him with a blank face. They make eye contact for a second, however the black haired omega still seems to keep the grim expression on his face,which makes the other anxious.

The blond omega collects up all his courage at once to defeat his qualm and keeps eye contact, before asking.

"So,did you have any dreams? I mean... Were you like... interested in doing something?"

The blond hesitates,but he still continues.

"What were you doing before being exchanged?"

"What?"- the black haired omega befuddledly asks,his voice slightly rasies. Judging by his expression, question and voice, the other omega could easily that it wasn't a very pleasant question.

Silence occured. Suddenly they both heard roaring like a colossal drum, a low-frequency rumble that reverberates through the atmosphere.The thunder rumbles in the distance, it was a deep and resonant sound that echoes through the air. And then raindrops started to fall steadily, creating a very engulfing sound,that effected both of them equally.

"D-id I say something that made you uncomfortable?" - the blonde omega says, completely sorrowfully, knitting his eyebrows together in anxiousness that he might have offended the omega. The blonde was afraid he did a huge mistake by asking such a thing and about to apologize for his behavior,he suddenly gets interrupted by the black omega.

"Sorry. I... I- you haven't said anything wrong! It's just... funny... It's so hilarious! My life is a whole big,fat joke and the joke's on me"

The black haired omega says while scoffing, sad,yet true,his life is indeed so unfair.

Hearing his words,the blonde looks down, playing with his fingers, regretting his words even more bitterly. It's just so obvious he had dreams, everyone does,but sometimes you cannot fight fate.

Suddenly,they both realized that the silence has occurred again,but this time its even louder. Not even a letter escaped from both of the omegas,which speaks a lot. It shows how unfamiliar they are with sharing feelings and experiences. Yes,in general omegas are the biggest introverts,but the society that they live in makes them feel even more insecure about themselves and their features.
All of them feel incapable to get into any type of relationship even with omegas and it's even harder for them to trust alphas, knowing that most of them don't even believe in real love. It's most likely to be lust,to show them off to other alphas or even use them for pleasure,but never to stay with them until the very end.

Realizing that the blonde feels bad about what he did,the black haired omega couldn't resist it. It was so obvious that the blonde didn't mean to offend or hurt him.

He stands up, striding towards the blonde to show him that he feels safe around the his presence. The blond looks at him with his siren mournful eyes, scintillating in tears. Then suddenly the black haired omega kneeled down,head resting on the omegas's legs,while hand holding blonde's. The black haired omega was trying to give him a sign,that he does trust him.

The blonde omega's body trembles from his sudden actions,but he does not push him away or try to rebuke him, instead he pats his back, trying to comfort his sadness.
