ੈ♡ 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙜𝙞𝙧𝙡 𝙞'𝙫𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙣! ♡ ੈ

𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 𝙂𝙊𝙀𝙎 by fast and today was finally monday! you excitedly get out of bed and head to the bathroom to shower and complete your morning routine.

brushing your teeth, you were thinking about what you were going to wear. maybe a dress? no. sweatpants? no. pantsuit? HELL no!

sighing, you walk back into your room to go raid the closet and find the perfect first day outfit. it was the middle of the school year, so there was no need to dress really fancy. you settled with a white short sleeved shirt, covered by an opened long baby pink cardigan that fell just above your knees. you went with black flared leggings since you would obviously be moving around a lot, and finished the look with a pair of ugg slippers.

you go over to look in the mirror and fix your hair. you decided to get your hair sewn in before you moved and it was still holding up. combing it through until it was straight enough to your liking, you look through your drawers for hair ties, as you were going to put it up in a ponytail later.

you check the clock and it was 5:13. you needed to get a move on because teachers needed to be there at 6:00 to check in and get ready for the day. the school doors open at 6:30, and classes start at 7:00 on the dot.

although you didn't have a classroom to get ready in, nor students to actually teach, you still wanted to show administration how serious you are about your job.

grabbing your keys and checking your phone, you were surprised to see a message so early in the morning from your mom.

this made you smile on the inside and out. your mom wasn't the type to be up and running at this time of day so it makes you really appreciative that she woken up just for you.

you texted back a quick "thank you" and head out the door to your car. driving to work, you listen to beyoncé's 'bday' album, which was currently playing the song green light. this was one of your top songs from this album so it had you really hype so early in the morning.

the school was only 10 minutes away from your complex, so you were doing good with the timing so far. it would only be a few more minutes until you arrived in the school's parking lot.

pulling up to the area, you browse through to find a spot to park. finally finding one, you park with your car's rear in the front so it would be easier to get out of the space at the end of the day.

doing a quick breathing exercise before you leave your car, you mentally give yourself a pep talk and reassure yourself that today was going to be perfect.

you get out of your car and head to the front of the school building where the main doors were. you had to ring the doorbell since you didn't have an id that you could scan on the reader. it only took five second for the office to open the door.

"DOOR UNLOCKED"

you heard the door physically pop the lock that was on it and grabbed onto the handle to open it. walking inside of the school for the very first time, you were in awe. it felt like the ceiling literally didn't have an end to it, the way it was so high. to your left, you saw the portraits of all the former principals and their achievements. to your right, you saw a statue of the school's mascot. it was a beautiful jaguar that was mounted on top of a wall and looked like it was ready to pounce upon the people who passed by it.
