Jasper, relieved and laughing: "Well, I guess the secret's out. Thanks, Kringle."
As the trio laughed together, the camaraderie between Jasper, Crystal, and Kringle grew stronger. On the other side of the camp, Shade and Nicholas, despite now being a couple, continued their usual banter.
Nicholas, teasingly: "I can't believe I'm dating someone who relies on illusions all the time."
Shade, smirking: "Well, I can't believe I'm dating the 'toymaker.'"
Holly, attempting to diffuse the banter: "Come on, guys, can't you just enjoy being together without arguing?"
Nicholas and Shade exchanged playful glances and, surprisingly, kept their bickering light-hearted.
Nicholas, grinning: "You know, Shade, even though you're a shadow, you're not so bad."
Shade, smirking: "And you, Nicholas, for a toymaker, you're tolerable."
Holly, rolling her eyes: "Tolerable is an improvement, I guess."
Laughter echoed through the forest, punctuating the moment with shared joy and the unique bond that connected each member of the group. The day continued, marked by confessions, banter, and the unspoken understanding that their mystical journey was bringing them closer together in unexpected ways.
