FLASHBACK

"WHAT DO YOU WANT, LET ME GO?!"?? screams. "Not until you sign over your daughter. It your daughter or your life." Kade says as he pushes the contract forward with a pen. "no. take my life, I don't care. I would never sell my daughter over to a scumbag like you." Kade chuckles, "tase him." ?? looks with a wide expression and screams in agony. "Now let me make a different proposition since the first one just doesn't seem to be enough for you! Either you hand over your daughter for $35,000,000 by sending over these papers, or I kill your whole family." Kade says with a sly smirk seeing the terrified look on the man's face. "Fine! Fine! Just give me the paper but leave my family alone. And DONT hurt her." he says now with anger flaming in his eyes as he signs the contract.

!! END OF FLASHBACK !!

"Ms. Ivory, your father is calling you down to his office. He says it's urgent." I just give the maid a slight nod and shut my phone off as I get up. I finally arrive at my father's office, knock on the door. I receive a hastily response, "come in!" I open the door and shut it carefully behind me. "Yes father, what is so "urgent"? Can grandma not fix her computer again?" I laugh, but he just keeps me a serious stare with a hint of sympathy in his eyes. I sit confused and then sit down and mumble under my breath "ok..not a humorous mood I see." As I begin to sit down, he starts to speak, "You need to pack all your belongings, and be ready to leave by tomorrow morning at 8AM. Kade, the leader of the Russian Mafia, will be coming to get you. You and he will be getting married in a few weeks." I sit there in a state of shock when a wave of anger begins to take over me. "WHAT?! YOU SOLD ME TO THE MOST DANGEROUS MAN IN THE COUNTRY! YOU ARE SICK, WHY WOULD YOU THIS TO ME?" my eyes are stinging with tears threatening to fall, but I hold them in. He goes to speak, but I cut him off and walk out. I hear him call for me to come back, but I just keep trudging on back to my room. I begin to angrily pack as I hear my door open. I flip around to see who it is and it's my mother. "Why are you letting him do this?! I know you don't want this but say something to him please!" I speak. "Sweetie, I had no idea that he was going to do this beforehand, and i could've more have been able to stop him, but it's too late. I've already tried to talk to him, and he says what's done is done." I just stare at her and start sobbing; she brings me in close and embraces me. "I just don't know why he would do this to me..." She shakes her head, and responds, "I don't know either, but if I figure it out, I promise I will tell you." I quietly whisper a thank you, and she lets go to which she then gives me a slight smile followed by a kiss on the forehead. She walks out, and lips 'I love you' and I blow her a kiss to which we both giggle a little bit, but then once she's gone, I begin to sob again.

!! LATER THAT NIGHT !!

I thought that if I was going to have to get married to this man, might as well search and find a little bit out about him. But once I search him up nothing pops up. Then suddenly my computer completely shuts off. "What the fuck..." I mumble to myself. I then get up from my desk and begin to pack because I know I won't wake up in time to pack and get ready knowing myself. I pack all belongings that I can fit into this mid to average size suitcase. I then brush my teeth and shut the lights out. "Goodnight, lord please make sure I make it past my next birthday at least." After about 5 minutes looking at the ceiling, I manage to fall asleep.
