"NIGHTRIDER! COME BACK HERE!" Sonic exclaimed while pursuing the one and only NightRider. While the duo were having a deadly game of tag the others, including Zone, couldn't stop looking Sonic's phone. The picture was Sonic and himself sitting next to each other during the movie last night. Zone started to think to himself, "Did she know I had a crush on her? Wait... if the others know then they must have told her. No! NO! NOO! This can't be happening! I wasn't ready to ask her out!" Before Zone could finish his thought process, another picture came up on Sonic's feed, and it was Scoots' instagram. It was an edited photo of his pony OC and Sonic OC paired up in a red heart. Then Zone started to think that even their OCs will perfectly match with each other. Zone became really nervous while the others were laughing at the humorous edit, but before anyone notice Zone's behavior Sonic walks through the door with whipped cream, some lightly salted peanuts, and a handful of cherries, then slowly but surely NightRider followed her. He was covered in whipped cream and lightly salted peanuts everywhere, but mostly on his head, and on the top was a bunch of cherries making him look like a sundae. Then before NightRider could argue, Sonic took a picture of him and posted a picture on his instagram with the caption, "I just got some sweet sweet revenge on NR #Pranks2015"
"Hey that's not fair!" NightRider projected. "Yes it is! You should be lucky I didn't OTP you with anyone else here" Sonic replied to NR's outburst. As Sonic reached for her phone she saw the edited photo of her and Zone's OCs as an OTP couple. "SCOOTS!" Sonic screeched to everyone in the room. Not even a second passed and Scoots went to hide somewhere in the house where she'll least expect it, inside the massive pile of wrapping paper. While Sonic was searching for Scoots, she spots Zone just staring off into space and when she walked in his line of sight he just stood there without a reaction. Zone was just trying to keep up with his mind that already was move at the speed of light. Only when Sonic gives him a light slap across the face of stares into his eyes Zone comes back into reality. "Zone? You there man?" Sonic questioned. Zone getting nervous by the millisecond was looking for an exit or a way out of the current situation he was in. "I...I...I gotta go and pick-up more eggnog. BRB" "Wait there's a huge snow st..." Sonic was interrupted by the snow collapsing inside the house from the door that Zone opened. Now Zone, while in a rush to get out only had a basic shirt on and pants, and getting tackled by snow doesn't help his situation. :"Quick! Someone get something to get the snow out of the house while I try and get Zone out!" Sonic commanded to the others. The others complied to her orders and looked for a spade or something to pick up snow in. As Sonic dragged Zone out of the pile of snow, he was basically frozen from the surrounding snow. So Sonic carried Zone to the fireplace and started to hug him for his body to become "warmer". When Zone was recovering he realized the position he was in. He was sitting by the warm, cozy fireplace, next to his one and only dream girlfriend.
"Hey Zone are you feeling ok today?" Sonic asked with a concerned tone. "Ya, I'm ok." Zone replied with uncertainty in his voice. "Come on Zone you can tell me. We've been friends since like the beginning of time!" "I don't know... You wouldn't really be interested." "Zone just tell me. I don't care how crazy you think your thing is, I'm your friend and friends always help each other out. Zone I just want to help you." There was a painfully long amount of silence now. Awkward silence wouldn't have been enough emphasis on how weird and strange the silence was. After what felt like an eternity, Sonic finally broke the what seemed to be a space vacuum. "Hey look, I'm sorry for pressuring you like that. It wasn't really friendly of me to pressure you into something you didn't want to tell me. I'm sorry Zone I guess I'm not a good friend." "Hey, you're the most best friend anyone could ask for." "No I'm not, I couldn't respect your privacy and..." Sonic was interrupted by Zone's lips abruptly meeting hers. Sonic could sense Zone's nervousness mostly because his eyes were shut way too tight. Then she started to think to herself, 'Was it that obvious that he liked me? Was that NR's luck or did he actually know Zone liked me?'
For quite some time, Sonic took an interest in Zone, but was never confident enough to actually ask him out; mostly because of NightRider's ship that really held her back. She dreadfully hated whenever NightRider was correct, especially with his ships. 'But what am I going to do? Zone was kissing me right now, I can't just turn him down just because I just wanted to only temporarily prove NR's theory was false.' Sonic not caring if anyone saw them right now, she started to wrap her arms around Zone and started to return the kiss. Both of them couldn't believe that their dreams have came true after all this time, and none of them wanted it to ever end.
"Jeez that was a lot of snow!" NightRider said in a fatigue voice. "I know right!" Hyper exclaimed. "And I'm pretty hungry right now." Lullaby admitted. "Same here." NightRider replied. "Ok I'll go make something while you guys get cleaned up." Scoots offered. While the others were cleaning up, Huper remembered he forgot his hot chocolate by the fireplace. As Hyper walked into the room he saw Sonic & Zone making out by the fireplace. *'Hyper's brain' system failure system failure, running Common Sense program. "Sir, the Common Sense program is not working." "Reroute all memory to the Thought Processing Center." "Sir, we don't have enough memory to reroute to the Thought Processing Center!" "Overclock the brain's memory to 200%" "Sir, I'm advising against that decision because it might corrupt the brain for a very long time." How long Sergent?" "At least an hour sir." *momentary pause* "Do it."
[10 seconds later]
"Sir we've lost all memory to the Thought Process Center!" "There's no other choice, reboot the brain." "Sir that will make the host faint and become unconscious until the brain loads again." Do it Sergent! May God be with us all." [automated voice] shutting down brain, system reboot, approximated time 10 minutes till full reboot*
Zone and Sonic were so caught up in each other, they didn't notice the sound of the door opening. Only when Hyper's unconscious body collapsed on the ground they realized Hyper just saw what they just did.
