A/N: Here lies the beginning of your journey into the wonderful world of MHA! Personally I like Readers with overpowered quirks but hey I know that's not everyone's cup of tea.

Summary: Wanting to be accepted into U.A to be a Support Course Hero your guardians vouch for you claiming you've changed. Will your past be held against you or will you be given a chance at your dream school?

...

Standing outside of Nezu's office in the brightly lit corridor Aizawa shifted uneasily. The paperwork in his arms suddenly felt heavy and he wanted to call off the meeting or lie about their true intentions.

Yamada hummed watching his partners actions closely.

"Are you sure they're ready for this?" Shōta questions softly.

You were fifteen, a year older then them when they first applied to U.A. But that didn't ease his mind as they waited to be seen, quirk paperwork and school registration forms under his arm. Your grading scores for advanced courses were impeccable, your fighting and hero law knowledge unmatched. But it wasn't your mind that made Aizawa uneasy. He knew you were smart enough to get in.

"Don't you mean are we ready for this?" Yamada teases back. Aizawa freezes at the question. It feels like yesterday you were that scared but sweet little kid they let into their lives and now here you were growing up before their very eyes. You were no longer scared but you were just as sweet. As Shōta stared his partner down, his capture weapon shifted and his eyes turned red. Yamada signed softly in response. "Aizawa I know... I know it's scary. But we can't keep denying them this opportunity. We can't let our fear control their life."

As he reached out Shōta stopped pacing and came closer. Staring out the window at U.A's grounds away from his partner, Yamada squeezed Aizawa's arm gently.

The man swallowed before slowly nodding. His posture loosened and as he took a deep breath his eyes returned to their normal color.

"I know, I just..." Aizawa paused struggling to find the words. "We have their best interests at heart. A lot of the Pro Heroes also have their best interests at heart. But not everyone out there does. When we found them... Mic it took us years to get where we're at. They finally have semi decent control of their quirk." Shōta pinches his nose.

"They're levels beyond where they should be academically. They aren't afraid anymore. And they're happy. We finally did it, they're happy. For some stupid reason that kid is happy." As his breath hitches he takes a moment. "... With me. With you. With us." He whispers softly. "I never want them to be unhappy again. I don't want them getting hurt again. Last time we almost lost them. ...What if it's too much? What if a Hero Agency or the Commission takes them away from us?"

It wouldn't be the first time they'd almost had you ripped away from them. While Aizawa never wanted to be a dad he would never change what happened. How you came into their lives.

He was the one who rescued you but often he thinks about how you were the one who rescued him.

"They can try." Hizashi states, a dark look in his eyes as he remembers all the times they were called unfit parents. How many favors they had to call in and how AllMight and other Heroes had to vouch for their character. A whole school of Pro Hero teachers fighting for you and it almost wasn't enough.

Aizawa nods taking in those words and while he's still nervous Yamada's hand rubbing at his back makes him feel better. As the knot is slowly undone he sighs having finally let what was bothering him out. Clutching the papers containing everything Nezu would need close he hopes this is what's right for you.
