The calm before the storm

Lightening danced across the sky as the thunder shook the ground. This was my favorite time of the year, thunderstorm season. I sat on the porch swing rock back and forth admiring the show. Most of friends and family say that I am insane for being so fascinated with this type of weather but I think its relaxing. Now if it were a hurricane or an earthquake then I could see their point but thunderstorms are the way to release all the ill feelings that you've been holding in.
