3rd POV
After the battle with the two girls, Darius, Abigail and Mirei carrying an unconscious Mamori were now venturing into the jungle. They were both looking for somewhere to rest and not get caught up with any more girls wanting to fight. Darius knew the path and figured it would lead to the castle but was also preparing himself for the next fight.
He looked into the items and equipment he had for the quest. Two were skill books that were Swordsmanship and Hand-to-Hand Combat, while the sword was a Steel Longsword. He equipped the sword and learned the two skills with ease.
Learned:
Swordsmanship |Active| (Lvl: 1/10): Learn the ways of the blade and become strong with them, while learning different styles and combat Skills.
Sword Skills: Cross-Slash (Lvl 1), Deep Cut (Lvl 2), Power Swing (Lvl 5),......
Hand-to-Hand Combat |Active| (1/10): Learn to fight with your hands and feet and deliver striking blows. Learn new fighting styles as it grows.
Equipment:
Steel Longsword
Atk: +5, AS(Attack Speed): 15
Darius: 'Okay, nice to know we can have skill books to learn then and/or make up our own.' He thought as he and the others continue their way.
After a few steps, they heard something groan, ultimately meaning that Mamori is waking up.
Mamori: "Hhu.....Huh? W-what happen? *Looks at the person carrying her* Oh! Its you...!"
Darius: "Morning princess. How you sleep...?" I said, giving a light-hearted expression.
Mamori: "Darius. And Abigail too! ...Wait but, what happen to the two others...?"
Abigail: "Well...let's just say this girl took care of them." Abigail said telling a half true answer. Even though that we all had a hand with it, Mirei was the only one who defeated them.
Mamori: "Oh. Okay. *Looks at Mirei* Um, you can put me down now. I'm alright."
Darius: "You sure you want that now? It might be unwise for you."
Mamori: "Um...Why?" She asked and I pointed down to where she was under. Her followed my direction and looked down seeing hundreds of snakes slithering on then making her shriek in terror.
I did warn her, but she apparently doesn't know it since we're in the jungle. Also, thanks to the gamer's mind and scan ability, Me and Abigail knew they weren't poisonous.
Mamori: "AHhHHH!! Um, IT'S ALRIGHT, I'LL STAY UP HERE! SO, PLEASE JUST-!?" Just as she was about to finish her sentence, a snake got up and liked her a little, causing her to scream more.
Not wanting her to be afraid anymore, Mirei kicked it into high gear and run. Me and Abigail follow in pursuit and rushed more. I have the feeling that were about to go into another fight so I checked the rewards.
Darius: 'Let's see now. .......Oh?' I checked the rewards and saw a few skills that might help me.
(Mana Manipulation, Keen sense, Courageous forces) Skill books, B-class gauntlets
Darius: *Thinks* 'These might help. I better share the Mana Manipulation skill with Abby. She might need this sooner or later.' *Outloud* "Hey Abby?"
Abigail: "Yeah, what is it." She heard me and came up to me.
Darius: "I want to share these skills with you. Do you mind?" I asked and she had a questionable look. I gave her the skill books to have a look at them and she was ecstatic for a while.
