Chapter 4

Sophia and the kids went to live with the Bianchi's.
Allesia and Matteo (Sophia's parents) were rude and hostile to Sophia and the kids. Sophia sets up the room they're sleeping in and both kids end up falling asleep.

I don't know how to feel about any of this.
Everyone is acting so calm, normal, almost ignoring us in a way.

Which I'm obviously grateful for but I feel like I'm missing something, like this situation isn't worth ignoring.

When I went to grab food for Isadora and me earlier, nobody even glanced toward my direction.

Alas I haven't been out of the bedroom for more than 10 minutes, So maybe I truly was unnoticed.

Isadora finally hands me her plate and I set it down on a little end table by the bed.

Isadora smiles up at me with spaghetti sauce all around her face.

I chuckle at her and start to get the bath ready for her.

Of course right on time Anthony starts crying for attention and love. "I'm coming baby boy" I say to him as I rush to him.

I simply rock him and he's out like a light. I set him in his play pen and continue putting in bath salts and helping Isadora into the bath.

I wash Isadora up and after I let her sit and play in the water.

While she's busy, I take the moment to FaceTime Leo.

It rings a total of 2 times before he picks up.

Ignoring the phone, I go onto my skin care.

I fix my messy bun and wash my face taking off all of my makeup.

"Love? Are you there?" I hear him as I rub my face dry of water.

"Yes dear, I was just washing my face" I say teasingly.

He chuckles as he gets into bed.

"How is it Amore?" He asks.

"Surprisingly okay, We've kind of just been ignored almost" I say as I help Isadora get out of the tub and into Pajamas.

"That's good love, Now let me talk to my beautiful daughter" he says.

"Fine" I say sarcastically.

I hand the phone over to Isadora while she tells him all about her day and her toys and well everything.

Leo just says "mhm" and nods ever so often, trying his best to keep up.

I smile at them. I love their relationship.

Isadora is the best daughter I could ever have and Leo is my soulmate and I love him so much.

I lay down on the bed in a daze about how wonderful my life is until Anthony starts squirming and crying telling me that he's hungry,

I rush to him and give him my boob in hopes he'll calm down.

Soon enough he's squeezing the life out of me and sucked up all the milk my body has.

I put Anthony back in his play pen after I burp him.

Isadora is laying in bed and now simply mumbling while her eyes close telling both of us she's about to fall asleep.

I chuckle at her and grab the phone back.

I walk to the bathroom so I can talk louder than a whisper to Leo.
