"Thu bol de bhai," Shubman spoke while he and Ishan were having coffee when Veera was at the counter buying pastry. "Kya bolun? Ki Veera mujhe thujse pyaar hogaya?" Ishan asked looking at Shubman who shrugged. "Well technically yeah," he answered before taking a big sip from his coffee cup.
"Easy for you to say," Ishan muttered. It had already been 14 days. Now only a week was left for Veera to go to Ahmedabad. She had already sent the designs and the work had started. But she had to be there for a while
"Kya hua?" Veera asked as she came with her pastry when Ishan while scrolling through his phone spoke. "Thujse pyaar hogaya Veeru," he spoke still scrolling on his phone making Veera's eyes go wide. "Okay Imma go and get some air," Shubman spoke giving thumbs up to Veera before escaping.
Ishan looked up to see Veera looking at him and he noticed Shubman missing. His eyes widened before he placed the phone on the table and covered his face with his hands embarrassment taking over.
"Did I?" he muttered while he heard her hum in response as she waited for him to speak while she ate her pastry. When he peeked through his fingers he saw that she finished eating. "You finished eating so fast?!" he asked shocked.
"Don't change the topic, Ishan. Now answer me. Do you like me?" she asked as he hesitantly nodded, while Shubman watched from outside. "Arey bhai, kiss karo use" he muttered face palming.
"Good, 'cause I really like you too, and I was getting a little worried over there," Veera spoke making Shubman fist bump the air outside, while the others passing by couldn't help but laugh at his antics. On the other hand, Ishan sat wide-eyed inside and was even more shocked when Veera leaned in and placed a soft kiss on his lips.
He didn't know how to react but kissed back, not caring about how they were in a cafe [ though it was empty ] or how Shubman was filming it from outside. Ishan felt Veera pull away with a soft smile on her face before she looked at him while he was mesmerized. Thankfully except Shubman, no one had seen them kiss. "Okay, time to go. Come on," she spoke softly before she got up followed by Ishan. The 2 left the cafe, Ishan still mesmerized while they joined Shubman outside.
"That was gold!!" he whisper yelled making Veera chuckle. "Yo bro what's got you smiling like that?" he smirked as he walked beside Ishan while Veera walked in front of them. Ishan saw Veera glance back before turning front making him run his fingers through his hair before halting. "Did that just happen?" he asked as Shubman nodded. "Yeah," he replied. "Veera kissed me. Oh my god," he muttered rubbing his face.
"Wait here," Ishan spoke before running to Veera. Shubman threw his hands in the air in irritation before walking. He saw Ishan speak to Veera, both having smiles on their face. He genuinely felt happy for both of his best friends. His Veeru and Ishu.
Shubman then noticed Ishan walk back to Shubman all giddy. "Abh kya? Date keliye thayaar hone keliye help karna hai na? Kartha hoon," He answered making Ishan hug him. "You read my mind," Ishan spoke making him smile.
