Caine is in his room, that's hidden from the others, and he's sorting stuff to make it look nicer. He knows moon is supposed to be coming over later and everything needs to look perfect before she gets here! But he can feel himself slipping. He try's to fight it until moon leaves but she isn't even coming for another hour! So he ends up slipping. He hides himself in the closet, like he normally does, so no one sees him

About an hour later Moon shows up and she's looking around the circus for him and calling his name.

"Caine! Caine darling where are you?"

She calls and calls but gets no answer. She huffs and decides to just check Caines room. She pecks into his room and sees Bubble trying to get into Caines closet.

"Caine you can't keep locking me out! I'm only trying to help you!"

Bubble pleads

"No! Just leave me alone Bubble!"

Caine reply's. Bubble looks angry and just storms out (or floats out) moon watches Bubble before turning to face the closet. She takes her human form and walks up to the closet before crouching down in front of it

"Caine? Darling? Are you on there?"

She saying in a somewhat teasing tone but she doesn't mean it in a bad way. Caine looks at the closet door from inside the closet and just whimpers quietly.

"Awww... caine are you ok baby?"

Moon says as her tone changes to a more concerned one. She opens the closet and sees Caine sitting on the ground of the closet with tears in him eyes.

"Baby... what happened..? Why are you crying..?"

Caine doesn't respond he just looks away and try's to stop the tears from leaving his eyes. Moon sighs and picks him up startling the small man.

"Did you get into a fight with Bubble again?"

Moon asks like she already knows what happened and Caine just nods while looking down. He doesn't want to get in trouble. He also doesn't want to make Moon mad. Moon sighs again

"I'm not mad at you dear.."

She says as she smiles she then lays on Caines bed while cuddling him to her chest

"Why don't we take a nap little dove?"

She asks softly and Caine nods. Crying takes a lot of effort and makes him tired (Even though Ai's don't need to sleep). Caine nuzzles into Moon and falls asleep in a matter of seconds. Moon smiles again and kisses the top of his head.

"Good night little prince..."

Finally a decent one! I wrote this at 5:54 in the morning so bare with me! I like this one a lot more then the Jax one. Anyway hope you enjoyed.
