Chapter 1: A New Beginning

I stepped out of the car and took a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves. Today was my first day at a new school, and I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and anxiety. As a transfer student, I knew it would take some time to adjust, but I hoped to make new friends and find my place here.

Walking through the school gates, I couldn't help but notice a tall, athletic figure standing near the entrance. His name was Ryker, and he had been assigned to assist me with anything I needed. I had heard about him from the school administration, and they had assured me that he was a kind and helpful person.

"Hi, you must be Eloise," Ryker said with a warm smile as he approached me. "I'm Ryker, your designated helper. If you need anything, just let me know."

His friendly demeanour instantly put me at ease. "Thank you, Ryker. I'm a bit nervous, but I'm sure I'll find my way around with your help."

Over the next few weeks, Ryker proved to be an invaluable guide. He showed me around the school, introduced me to his friends, and even helped me with my class schedule. His gentlemanly actions didn't go unnoticed, and I found myself growing more and more fond of him.
