1. The fight that started it all.

I smile as brightly as I could as I listen in on James and Mr. Smith conversation. They were the only ones talking James expected me to talk to Noah, but Noah is a bit of a fucktard.

Okay maybe not a bit, more like a lot.
Noah is the most popular guy in my school and I dislike him, no I actually I hate the kid more then I hate the color pink, which is a lot.
The Smith are pretty close with my family, now you probably would have think I'd have a big freaking crush on Noah, or at least be friends with him.

Nope not at all.
Noah lives to make my life a living hell like I said I hate him. My mother doesn't know this, hell I'm pretty sure if she did, she wouldn't care because James would say everything is all good in the hood.
Okay not those exact words, but something along those lines.
Of course now that I'm paying attention to this train wreck of a shit dinner I see everyone staring at me. I raise my eyebrows plastering that fake smile on me face.
"Honey, John ask how your doing in school. " my mother said.
I sigh, and ignored the look James gave me. The look of disappointment.

"School is Shit. " I stated looking down at my food, which I have barely touched. They look of shock that I had gotten from my step-father and the Smiths was priceless. My mother just gave me a disapproving look.

To give you the short statement I'm grounded and that dinner was a bust. I am now in my bedroom listening to Hollywood undead, trying to block out the yelling from downstairs. James and mom are fighting like always.
This time though it's about me being disrespectful at dinner.

"They're fighting again." I mutter to myself standing up and pulling my jacket closer to me. Grabbing my backpack and slinging it over my shoulder, I pause my music. I look back at Bubba my dog. "I'm going to take the window. You go out the doggie door, I'll meet you in the backyard. " I say to him quietly, I open the door a crack and let him out shutting the door behind him and grabbing his leash I look at the window. "I'm a ninja. " I say quietly jumping to the tree next to my house. I catch myself on the branch. I look down my body dangling, sighing to myself, I let myself drop.
My landing didn't go as plan and I kinda hurt my hands and knees. I standing up still holding onto my Bubba leash, I go to the gate that leads to the backyard. I open and connect Bubba with his leash. I shut the gate and look back up to my bedroom window, when I did I got something in the corner of my eye.

I look up to my neighbors window to see Lou Parker.

I look down and pulled my backpack closer to me. I grip my dogs leash and run off. Hoping to never make eye contact with the "devil " again.
