•Mystery Lover•
Why me? Out of everybody on this earth, why do I have to be the one...
Earlier that morning*
"Ahhh! Miss.Y/l/n, I've been looking for you," my boss spoke. I spun around, "You have?" "I have, there's something very important I need to talk to you about." He walked towards his office, pointing to an empty chair for me to in. "So what's this about?" I questioned nervously. "Well, there's been a large decline in your work as of late," he sighed, folding his hands in his lap. "Now, I understand that you've got a lot going on, with your mother and such, but I cannot risk a screw up in my business, so I've got to let you go." He smiled kindly, as if a smile could help ease the pain of the words he'd just spoken.
Current time*
"My oh my, what's happened Y/n?" My mother spoke with concern. "I'm so sorry," I whispered as trough my tears. "Sorry for what dear?" "I lost my job," I sniffled. "Oh, Y/n don't be sorry!" She held my face in her hands. "I let you down, how am I supposed to pay for your chemo now?" "Oh dear, don't worry about that! It'll all be okay," she comforted me.
After my breakdown I'd gone to my room and fell asleep, my mother was on the sofa knitting a sweater when I'd awoke. "Have a good nap?" She questioned, staring at me for a second. "Guess so," I shrugged. "Oh dear, alright go get dressed up, take a night out to that wine bar," she sighed. "What?" "You go and let loose." "The last thing I should be doing is letting loose." "Y/n, please." I sighed and stared at her, "Alright."
Slipping on my highest heels, my sleekest dress, and the lightest makeup, with that I was off to down a glass of rosé, or whiskey, that's stronger.

"Good evening Miss.Y/l/n," Zach smiled at me. "Evening Zach," I greeted, seating myself at the bar. "Doing alright?" He questioned pushing a glass of rosé in front of me. "Thank you, mmm not to well actually," I chuckled lowly, sipping on the glass in my hand. "Wanna talk about it?" He questioned while drying a glass. He always offers wonderful advice, so it was tempting to take him up on his offer, "not tonight," I smiled kindly. "Alrighty, you just let me know when you need a refill," he tapped the counter before walking off.
"Is this seat taken?" A male voice pulled me from my thoughts. "Uhh no, nope," I offered a half smile. "You're alone then?" He asked. "I am." "Well, now a pretty girl such as yourself shouldn't be here alone, let me pay for your drink?" He offered. He was charming, I couldn't resist the smile that lingered on my lips. "If you'd like," I flirted with him. "Ketel," he held out his hand, I shook his hand, "Y/n." "Lovely name," he smiled. "Thank you." "Lovely name for an even more lovely girl," he was so flattering. "Oh please," I chuckled. "I mean that, from the bottom of my heart Y/n," he smiled at me. "You're not too bad yourself Ketel," I complimented him.

"Shhh," I giggled drunkly as Ketel and I stumbled into his apartment. Ketel laughed, just as drunk as I was. "Are you alright with this?" He whispered going down on me. "Yes," I breathed, letting go of every ounce of stress that came out of today.
I let Ketel take all my worries and stresses of the day away, it was a euphoric feeling to say the least, but I still snuck away, when he'd fall asleep I snuck away from the warmth of his body and escaped his apartment, I ubered home, thinking of the way his body felt on mine, the worst part is that I won't remember him in the morning, he'll be my mystery lover...
