Your Pov ~
Pansy came over last night telling me all the details of her and Draco. I don't understand why she likes that ferret boy anyways.
We're in charms right now and Professor Flitwik is discussing the new project for this week.
"You'll be doing this project in pairs, Y/n and Mr. Riddle-"
The rest of his words were all a blur. I should've known he was going to pair me with Mattheo, he thinks we'll bond and become besties but that's just bullshit.
I look at Mattheo he's already looking at me , planning about all the work he's going to make ME do.
Pansy gets paired with Blasie, another boy from Mattheo's squad she has the hots for, life must be going great.
Me on the other hand, things could be going better, now I have a project to finish and work to catch up on.
After class me and Mattheo are the last ones here and when I try to leave he grabs my arm.
"I assume you already know your doing all the work right?" He says.
"Yes Mattheo, now let go."
Despite my protesting he pulls me even closer,
"I want it done correctly, I can't be failing because your dumb."
He whispers in my ear and makes my whole body feel ticklish.
"Yeah" is all I say before getting out of that class.
I think he could notice the goosebumps all over my skin , but there's nothing I can do about that right now.
Why was he acting like that anyways? Weirdo.
I decided to not tell Pans about this, she'd definitely get the wrong idea and I don't need her teasing me about it.
His Pov ~
As soon as I whispered in Y/n's ear I saw the goosebumps on her skin, loser.
I remind her that I won't be helping her with this project and that she has enough time to do it on her own before she leaves and I follow soon after.
I walk towards Theo standing at his locker flirting with some chick, let's be honest he'll probably be making out with her later, dump her and move on to a new hoe.
I see Y/n talking to Pansy not so far away, but I can't hear what she's saying so I walk up to them.
"Already telling your friend about our little encounter Y/n? You must be really in love with me then." I said chuckling, but Pansy looks confused?
"Shut up Mattheo!" Y/n yells at me.
"Ooh what encounter Y/nnnn!" Pansy asks wayyy too excitedly.
"He just grabbed my wrist and told me about how he was making me do all the work of our project"
Pansy looks angry and I already know what speech is going to be thrown at me.
She spends the next decade telling me how Y/n won't do the project alone and how I'll help her instead or else she'll "tell on me".
"My father is the dark lord I really don't care if you tell on m-" I stop in my tracks
"You know what? Fine. As long as I don't need to go through another one of your lectures."
I see her making a face at me but I walk away before she starts talking again, Theo has already started kissing that brunette chick and I just decide to skip last lesson and just go to my dorm instead.
I sit there in my dorm daydreaming, schools already out so I must've been sitting here for a while.
I decide to ask Lorenzo for Y/n's number since he's the only one in our group who has it.
He sends it a few minutes after I message him and I text Y/n telling her to come over at 7 so we can work on the project or whatever.
She just replies with a thumbs up and at 6:55 pm she's there.
"Why are you early, trying to impress me or something?"
I ask her with a smirk.
"Get over yourself Mattheo I don't have a lot of time to do this, I still have some Transfiguration work to catch up on since your dumb friend made me drown" she says walking into my dorm.
"Yeahhhh.. Still can't believe you don't know how to swim though."
"Shut up."
We both get started on the work even though she's still doing most of it since I "cant do anything right".
It's around 8:30 and we've made a lot of progress, but Y/n says she NEEDS to do that work.
"Yknow Theo's good at Transfiguration , I'll ask him to help you just go to his dorm at 6 tomorrow or whatever it's the one down the hall."
She thanks me with a stupid smile and I tell her I'm only helping her because it's kinda my fault she drowned or something.
Once she leaves I take a shower and go to sleep, we agreed to meet up at 7 again tomorrow after she's done at Theo's.
