Gazing at the rain, I feel the flame
Of your essence pouring hard on me,
Along, the wind whispers your name,
Breaking me to pieces of eternity.
By the window, the wet road, I sighed,
Amid the depth of a harrowed tune,
Knowing the rain would subside
To let me, in pain, leave so soon,
And soon, I will never see you again
Like a face among the busy crowd
For a day that must end, and then
The night will cry your name aloud
Your smile will echo in my mind,
The silent me, the silent you,
Our hearts mysteriously confined
On the van to UN Avenue.
