Lily and Henry both knew they had a crush on eachother, and they used together people to try and get over the fact they liked eachother. They were constantly nasty to eachother as well. Henry smirks at her.

"Like that's gonna happen, princess."
"Oh piss off! You think I want this?"
"I don't care what you want, Lily. Just get out of my way."
She groaned, walking away from him.
They got to work after school, going down into the mancave. He smirked, knowing she couldn't really stay away from him since they worked together at Junk-n-Stuff.

"So, Lily, what's new in the world of princesses today?" Henry asked, trying to keep the sarcasm low-key. He couldn't help but notice how cute she looked when she was annoyed with him.
"I don't want to talk to you."
"Well, you don't have to talk, but you're going to have to work with me."
"Gross."
"Get used to it, princess." He smirked.

She rolled her eyes, going up to her room. A few days later, she came downstairs, looking rough.

"Did you get a hangover or something?"
"No. Stay away from me. I'm not in the mood." She said, holding her hot water bottle against her stomach.
Henry looked over at her, trying to determine what had happened. "Are you ok? What's going on?"
"Go away, Henry."

Henry looked over at her, trying to figure it out. "Lily, what happened? Why are you like this?"
"Leave me alone." she said, getting up and storming out. Charlotte walked in, seeing the end of their conversation, Henry turned to her, "What's wrong with her?"
"Period." Charlotte replied.
Henry raised an eyebrow at her, "Are you kidding me? That's all that's wrong with her?"
"They hurt, hurt bad." Charlotte said.

Lily came back downstairs a few hours later, after a long arguement with Ray about how she needed to socialise. She sat next to Henry on the couch, her hair now brushed, she clutched her hot water bottle, a blanket wrapped around her.

"Hey, princess." Henry started.
"Stop." She said, putting her finger out to shush him. Henry raised an eyebrow at her, "Alright, alright. Just making conversation."

He looked over at her, taking in her appearance. She sat down, nearly in tears. They all watched a movie, after everyone had left, and it was just Lily and Henry left in the mancave, they were sat in silence. She closed her eyes, clearly trying to push through the pain of her cramps. He sat next to her, putting a hand on her back and asking quietly, "You want me to get you something?"

She nodded quietly, so he went to get her some painkillers from one of the cabinets in the mancave. He got her a glass of water, handing her the pills.
"Here you go." Henry said softly, handing her the glass of water and the painkillers.
"I- I don't know how to swallow pills.."
"Here, let me help you." She carefully opened her mouth, placed the pill on her tongue, and then he gave her a sip of water. He waited until she swallowed before asking, "Do you need anything else?"

His voice was gentle and understanding. She shook her head, her eyes closing in discomfort again. Henry sat beside Lily, putting a comforting hand on her back, sensing her need for him to be there for her. He looked over at her, realizing she really was going through a lot, and he finally put himself in her shoes. She leaned into him, a tear escaping from her eye. Henry, feeling the warmth of her body against his, gently rubbed her back in small circles. His heart softened seeing her in pain. She moved her hand to her waist, leaving further into him. Henry's heart skipped a beat as he felt her move closer to him, their bodies now in more contact.

"How come you had a detention yesterday?"
"I got caught kissing Mitch Bilsky in the girls bathroom."
He chuckled softly, trying to lighten the mood. "Still trying to get over me?" He joked.
"Yeah."
"Really?"
"Yeah. It didn't work."

Henry was surprised to hear her admit it, his heart skipping a beat. "Probably for the best, I hear that Henry guy is a real player." He said.
"Yeah, he is. But all the girls he dates are way out of his league."
"Oh really?" Henry asked with a smirk. "And what league do you think I'm in?" He teased.
"The lowest one."
"Well, aren't you just full of compliments?" Henry teased back, trying to lighten the mood once more.

He couldn't help but feel drawn to her, even if she was still hurt and upset.
She chuckled too, her eyes closing again.

"Lily, can I ask you something?"
"No."
"Please?" He pleaded softly. "Just one question. I promise it'll be quick."
"Go on."
"Do you still have feelings for me?"
She paused for a moment before leaning in, kissing his lips softy. She pulled away. "No."
"Are you sure?" He smirked.
"No." She smirked back.
"Well, I guess we'll just have to keep trying then." He said, his heart racing from her unexpected kiss.

Despite their playful banter, there was an undeniable connection between them. He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against hers once more, this time more passionately. She wrapped her hands around his neck, pulling him closer. She moved the hot water bottle and blanket out their way.

"Lily..." He groaned softly as their lips locked, their bodies pressed tightly against each other. His hands slid down her back, tracing down her spine.
"We can't." She whispered.
"Why not?" He groaned, deepening the kiss, letting his hands roam freely over her body. The forbidden thrill of their moment was addicting, and he couldn't get enough of it. She pulled away.
"Well, in the few hours we've been down here, my period hasn't magically disappeared."

Henry looked into her eyes, his heart racing. "I didn't mean... I was just caught up in the moment." He said, his voice hoarse from their intense kiss. He took a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves and regain his composure.

She chuckled. "Y'know," She started, seductively rubbing a finger down his chest. "My beds been feeling kinda empty recently.."
"Lily, you're playing with fire." He warned, his voice rough with desire. "I'm not sure if I can resist you much longer." His heart raced as her seductive touch sent shivers down his spine.

"Come sleep with me."

Henry was about to say something, anything, when she spoke those words. They hung in the air between them, heavy and provocative. He swallowed hard, his heart hammering against his chest. "I'm there."
