Forced to bond

Landon's Pov

Ah, it's time for school, brand new day, brand new me. Hopefully, today flies by and goes smoothly. I have to feed the dogs, walk the dogs and run out of the house, and head to school. It'll be a good day, hopefully, but i spoke too soon.

Owen heads out of his house and starts yelling at Landon

Owen: I hope you're ready for school today. i wish you the worst.

Landon: Aw, thanks. I hope you have a great day, too.

Owen bluffs and heads to school, Landon heads back home to put the dogs away and heads to school where he's greeted by his friends.

Dan: Yō "What's good?

Landon: Nothing much, just getting ready to get these classes over with and head home.

Dan: I felt that.

Alex: I hope this isn't going to be a long day at all.

Landon: Yeah, that kid keeps messing with me. Hopefully, he doesn't do anything. I'm tired, ha ha.

Alex: Yeah, it's getting annoying.

Dan: Absolutely!

Landon: Tell me about it.

As they head to class, surprisingly, nothing has happened. Class is about to start as Owen Barley makes it to class.

Mr. Ale: Alright, class, I have your assigned seats, and that'll be your partners for the rest of the semester, so be nice to one another. Let's start with Owen. You'll be partnered with

Owen: Not Landon, not Landon.

Landon: Not Owen, not Owen.

Mr. Ale: Landon

Owen: (yells) What?

Mr. Ale: Is there a problem?

Owen: Definitely, why did you put me up with someone who hates me?

Landon: Excuse me? Owen, you're the one who hates me.

Owen: I have my reasons

Landon: What's the reason exactly?

Owen: Ugh (sits back down)

Mr. Ale: Are you guys done? If so, then great because I'll talk to you two after class now, sitting next to one another.

Owen and Landon sit NeXTs to one another along with their classmates moving around each other to find their seats.

Landon's Pov

I can't believe I'm partnered up with this dude. My worst nightmare has officially started. I wanted to scream this was so bad. God, why do you hate me? What did I do? I've been so good to everyone, and you put me up with this kid who drives me insane and I have to deal with him every day, and I have to sit next to him also? Why!

Owen's Pov

What has the world come to? Out of all people, he had to put me with this asshole. We have to sit next to one another for a whole semester and have to do projects together. This is just not how i expected my life to go.

Landon: Hi, I'm Landon. Nice to meet you.

Owen: No

Landon: We have to try and cope with each other. I don't want this either, you nitwit.

Owen: Stop breathing. I hate you.

As class ends, Mr. Ale has Landon and Owen stay after to talk to them.
