As she looked around she heard a knock at the door.

Then a voice called out "his majesty is here to see you" Elvira sighed before answering "he may enter". The door opened and Edmond walked through, the door then closed behind him.

"It's good to see you in something nicer than that dirty dress" he said smiling as if nothing was wrong. This annoyed Elvira a little {how could he smile like that} she thought to herself. "If you're just here to chat I'm not interested" she said in her normal cold manner. "Why so cold, I thought we were getting closer" he said in a sad tone. "You almost sounded human" Elvira said, her cold look only becoming more fierce as she glared at him. He looks more sad realizing how much she had changed. Edmond began speaking "Elvira...I.. Want to get close to you again like be-" "NO, not again, you ruined that chance I'm not giving you another one" Elvira interrupted him letting her emotions take over again. "Please leave" Elvira said, turning around Edmond nodded and left. Elvira sighed and laid on the bed, her mind was in a mess she couldn't figure anything out and a million questions filled her mind. {why..why would he want to get closer?, will he use me like before?, what does he want?} These questions filled her mind until it was the only thing on her mind. {again?, why?, does he even care or have emotions?} tears began filling her eyes as the questions were filled with memories of her past

["ELVIRA, ELVIRA!!!" a small voice screamed happily but their face was blacked out]

Elvira ended up falling asleep since she was extremely tired from the day and it was late.

Elvira woke up startled, she had a nightmare but she quickly caught her breath. The door then began opening and Flora walked through with a few dresses. she looked up at Elvira "oh..sorry your majesty I didn't know you were awake" she said bowing. "It's okay Flora I have already told you in the past that you are aloud to enter" Elvira said smiling. Flora nodded and placed the dresses at the edge of the bed "his highness has ordered me to bring you more dresses, and to tell you that he's gonna have me be your maid again" Flora said smiling as she usually does. This is the best news I have received in a while. Getting to see my friend everyday will be great. "That's great we'll get to see each other more" Elvira said smiling more it feels like forever since she got to smile like this. "You should smile more your majesty, I can probably count the amount of time's you smiled this year on one hand" Flora said, giggling a little. "Yeah and I can't count the amount of times I've heard you say that" Elvira said, she can't help but chuckle a little. "I know but you have the brightest smile in the whole empire" Flora said smiling as well.
