Alexandria and Blaze were met with a phone to the face when they entered the apartment. Phoebe's smug expression was enough to explain what she saw. "Dria and Blazie sitting in a tree-" Blaze covered her mouth.
"Shut up." He whispered in her ear. Phoebe teared away from his grip and continued to sing.
"K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes love-" Blaze was about to hit the girl when Alexandria laughed wholeheartedly. "-Then the marriage!" Blaze grabbed Alexandria by the waist and led her upstairs. "Then the baby in the baby carriage!" Blaze felt his face grow hot and he hid it from view.
"Your sister is something." Alex breathed. Blaze ran his fingers through his hair.
"Yeah." Alex laid down on his bed, her legs hanging in the air.
"So..." Alexandria rolled to her side.
"So," Blaze repeated, sitting next to her. Alex laid her head in his lap.
"Do you think you will ever want to get married and have kids?" She asked. Blaze hands found their way into her hair but stopped stroking her scalp at those words.
"What?" He felt his cheeks go warm again.
"I mean, Phoebe was just talking about-" Blaze rubbed his temples.
"It's just a stupid song Alex." He remembered his sister got too over the top with his last girlfriend.
"So, you don't want to get married?" Alex summed up.
"No! What? I, I, um..." He stuttered, his face hot. Alexandria laughed. She bopped his nose.
"You're cute when you're blushing."
"No, I'm not cute, I'm a man." Alex held back a laugh.
"You're a man when I say you're a man." Blaze narrowed his eyes in annoyance.
"Well then you're a woman when I say you're a woman." Alex shot up and placed her hands on her hips.
"Do you say I'm a woman?" Alex made a smug face.
"Well, I-" He was cut off by Phoebe barging into his room.
"Go away, Phoebe, I-" Phoebe cut the poor boy off.
"It's the mayor! He's here!" Alexandria caught her breath.
"Dad?"

The middle-aged man looked nothing like Alexandria. Blaze realized. The only thing they shared was the same nose shape. While Alex had dark bronze-colored eyes, the mayor had sky blue ones. Alexandria had tan skin while the man was pale. His tousled dirty blonde hair was slicked back while Alexandria let her chocolate hair run loose. The man's strong hands were folded in his lap while Blaze's mother handed him tea. His suit was beige with a silky green tie.
"Father." Alex spoke, as if this was a business meeting. "What are you doing half across San Diego?" The man stood and held out his arms with a warm smile.
"Looking for my daughter who has been missing for two weeks. Why else?" Alexandria took a step back. Gently grabbing Blaze's hand. The mayor turned to him. "And this is-?" His sentences stopped short. The man grabbed Alex by the arm, much to her protests, and placed her behind him. "Blaze Katz." He growled. "Don't you lay a measly finger on my baby." Blaze held up his hands.
"Sir I'm not here to- '' The man slapped the boy.
"No. You listen here peasant." He pointed an angry finger at Blaze. "I am the boss around here. So if you'll just keep your filthy hands off my daughter then I won't have your head." He choked Blaze and pushed him to a wall. "If that becomes a problem then things will take a turn for the worse." He let go, Blaze gasped for air as he crumpled to the ground.
"Please sir-" Black swarmed his vision and he passed out. Alexandria rushed to the unconscious boy, taking his head in her cold hands.
"Oh I'm so sorry Baby." She whispered. Her father grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her away. "Let me go!" She screeched. Her father glared through his glasses.
"No young lady, you're going home. We're leaving this hellish place." Alex strained against his arms.
"NO! PLEASE! LET ME HELP HIM!" Alexandria cried hard. "I LOVE HIM! ISN'T THAT WHAT MOM WANTED?!" Liam Sinclair's face tightened. Alex pulled away and pulled Blaze up by the shoulders. "REMEMBER WHAT MOM SAID?!" She sucked in a breath. "THE NIGHT SHE DIED?!" Liam stiffened.
"Your mother wanted you to marry someone. That's it." Alex took a step forward before crumpiling to the ground.
"Encuentre a alguien que lo cuide en momentos de necesidad. Aprecia cada momento que tienes con ellos. te quiero hija mia." She repeated to her father. "Find someone to care for you in times of need. Cherish every moment you have with them. I love you, my daughter." She translated. "Do you know who I love?" She asked him.
"I love Blaze and that's final. I would die for that man. Mother already approved of him. Now it's your turn."
