In the city of Seoul, it was a one for all, all for one kind of behaviour. You had to fight to survive. Criminal activity was at a high. Many people did whatever it took to survive. Mafia groups running the city.
Now, in a small warehouse on the East side of the city, was a small drug operation. Two girls, Ivy Jung and Storm Kim, were doing what they know best. Ivy was at her small desk, packing drugs up as Storm threw a tennis ball up in the air. Both girls silent as another friend of theirs, Jay, walked in.
"Hey I just heard The Boyz are out." He said, making both turn to him.
"Out, as in out of prison?" Storm called, walking over to Jay, who was standing next to Ivy's desk.
Jay nodded, placing a newspaper down. Storm giggled seeing it.
"Who reads anymore?" She sassily asked.
"Me, because I'm old." Jay responded sarcastically, rolling his eyes as he sits down. Ivy grabbed the paper, looking at the title, which was in bold.
Mafia head released today!
"As if." Storm took the newspaper from Ivy's hand, "I thought he was going to get executed?" She called confused.
"You really think the government would execute Lee Sangyeon?" Jay said with a laugh.
"He was probably planning something." Jay added.
"We should be more careful." Ivy stated with a sigh. Both Storm and Jay look at her as Jake walked in.
"What's with the grim faces? Who died?" Jake called with a laugh, sitting next to Jay. Ivy threw the paper at Jake.
"Oh fuck." He cursed as he read the title.
"What now?" He asked.
Storm threw the tennis ball at Jake, the boy catching it without looking.
"We continue our work." Ivy stated.
Jay sighed and threw the newspaper away, heading for the door.
"You girls better not stay late or overwork!" He exclaimed.
"Never do!" Storm shouted back.
"That's cause you never work." Jake joked.
Storm stuck her tongue out at the boy as he left with his male friend. She sighed and sat on her friend's desk.
"Are the chairs not good enough?" Ivy called, her eyes not leaving the paperwork.
"Uh no and I know this annoys you mama Ivy~" Storm answered jokingly. Ivy looked at her best friend with a joke dirty glance.
"Don't make me call Jake back." She threatened.
"What about Jake!" Storm exclaimed.
Ivy laughed and got up from her desk, making Storm rise as well.
"I do not like Jake." She stated with a pout.
"Okayyyyyyy~" Ivy sang in a teasing tone.
"I think that's a mutual feeling around here, that we don't like Jake." A deep voice called from the doorway.
Ivy immediately looked that way, both girls tensing up upon hearing the familiar deep, powerful voice.
"Sangyeon."
