Storm's POV
As Eric drove his car, I silently looked out the window, the streets not too busy even though it was daylight.
"Right, I have a couple people I need to meet, you just be good by not causing trouble. You do that and Hyung might let you out more." Eric said to me.
"Will I be allowed to go with you or am I stuck in the car?" I asked.
"Oh baby, no way am I letting you out of this car." He answered with a chuckle.
"Then why am I here?" I questioned, looking over at him. He smirked and glanced at me, resting a hand on my knee and giving it a squeeze.
"To keep me company~" He said.
I sighed and it wasn't long before we parked up outside a warehouse. I looked around and noticed a few motorbikes.
"Sit tight~" He laughed as he got out.
I sighed again as he locked the car doors. The only way out would be to smash the windows, which would draw attention to me. I looked out the window again and saw a tall blonde boy working on one of the motorbikes. He had earphones in as he worked. I then heard the car unlock again and Eric slip into the drivers seat.
"That was quick." I mentioned.
"Yeah, Taeyong isn't much of a talker so I get out quick." He responded.
I nodded quietly as he started driving again. We drove around the city for a while, Eric making a few stops to deliver some drugs or weapons. He then pulled up to a small convenience store.
"What are we doing here?" I asked, feeling confused.
"To buy some snacks." He answered.
I nodded again and went to get out, but Eric stopped me. He gave me a guilty look, making me sigh and sit back in my seat. He then smiled and got out, heading into the store and within ten minutes he was back in the car, driving off again. I looked at the snacks he got, seeing sweets and a couple drinks.
Eric then parked up by the river. He turned the engine off and looked around the area, before turning to me.
"I'll let you get out and stretch your legs for a bit here, but talk to anyone and you'll see how good of a shot I am." He said, revealing his gun in his jeans.
I then got out of the car and sat on the bonnet, looking out at the river. Eric sat next to me as he ate some of the sweets, offering some to me as well.
"Why?" I asked quietly.
"Why what?" He replied.
"Why us? Why do all this?" I asked.
"That's down to Sangyeon Hyung, he makes the calls." He answered with a shrug.
"If it was down to business he could have just asked." I mumbled, eating one of the sour gummy bears.
"That's what most people do, but being honest babe, if a mafia leader who just got out of prison came up to you asking to take over your business you'd say no." He said with a laugh.
"True. Can I ask you something?" I reply.
"Sure, I'm an open book." He replied.
"Why are you being kind to me?" I asked.
"What's the point in being mean, your going to be with us for a while, so why be some asshole and not show you the true me that I want you to see?" He responded.
"Dude...that's true, you sounded so smart then." I said with a laugh.
"I am smart!" He exclaimed.
"Kinda." I muttered.
"Okay I'm not as smart as some of the Hyungs, but I'm street smart! And I was smart enough to get sweets you eat!" He shouted.
I looked at the nearly empty bag of gummies and laughed. We sat looking at the river a bit longer before heading home. I just hoped that Ivy was okay.
