The War

Back at the city, Harriet and Dick are still locked up. She managed to untie Dick's hands.

Dick: I have to warn Annabelle.

Harriet: Warn her? How did you get away from her?

Dick: She let me go, Aunt Harriet. She sent me back to you.

He shows her the rose rattle from the circus.

Harriet: I don't understand. Where did you...

Dick: She took me there. I know what happened to Mom and Dad.

Harriet: Then you know why I had to leave them there. I had to protect you. I've always tried to protect my little boy. Probably too much.

Dick: I understand. Will you help me now?

Harriet: It's dangerous.

Dick: Yes. Yes, it is.

Harriet: I could try to pick the lock. After all it's only gears and springs. But I would need something long and sharp. (Dick gets a safety pin from his suit.) Like that. Perfect.

At the castle, Cogsworth warns Annabelle.

Cogsworth: Oh, excuse me, Princess. I'm so sorry to disturb you.

Annabelle: She's not coming back.

Cogsoworth: No. They're breaking down the doors!

Annabelle: Doesn't matter now. Just let them come.

The mob is still breaking down the door.

All: (chanting) Kill the she-beast! Kill the she-beast.

Mrs Potts: This isn't working!

Lumiere: I know what to do.

Mob: Kill the she-beast! Kill the she-beast! Kill the she-beast!

They broke down the door. The castle was dark and silent.

Lefou: Are you not the least bit concerned that this castle might be haunted?

Lady Prudence: Don't lose your nerve, LeFou.

Gordon: This place seems familiar. Like I've been here before.

Lady Prudence approaches the west wing stairs. Lefou sees a teacup and a teapot.

Lefou: Oh, hello, there. You must be the talking tea cup. And you must be his grandmother.

Mrs Potts: (gasps) Grandmother?! Attack!

Every object in the castle came alive and attacked the mob. Cadenza let himself fall on Lefou.

Lefou: Lady Prudence help....

Lady Prudence: Sorry, old friend. It's hero time.

Back at the city the asylum driver looks at the back of the truck and sees that Dick and Harriet escape. Harriet was behind him.

Harriet: Hello. Oh, uh... I believe this is yours. (He hands the driver the lock. And saw Dick riding away on Philippe. He tosses his suit because it was lagging on him) He's very headstrong. Do you have children?

Back at the castle, Plumette dusts Lefou on his face.

Plumette: No one to protect you now, huh?

As Lady Prudence made it up the stairs, Chip flung eight saucers at the mob.

Chip: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight

Cogsworth: Good show, Chip, my boy. (A platoon of books attack the mob) Excellent! The infantry's arrived. Now, go and teach them a lesson. Go. Yes, those are called books, you third rate musketeers. (Tom, Dick, and Stanley snarled at Cogsworth.) Oh! I'm off. (They stopped him) Just a clock.

Madame de Garderobe arrive to help Cogsworth.

Garderobe: Come here little boys. I spin you this way. I put it on. Yes, pretty little boys. Yes! Beautiful! Go, be free! Be free. Be free!

They screamed in terror. Mrs Potts hangs from the chandelier and poured tea on the mob.

Mrs Potts: How do you like your tea? Piping hot? Or boiling?

She fell off the chandelier.

Chip: Mama!

Lefou catches her.

Mrs Potts: Oh, thank you. (Lefou hits a mob with Mrs Potts.) Nicely handled.

Lefou: Well, I used to be on Lady Prudence's side but we are in a bad place right now.

Mrs Potts: You're too good for her, anyway.

Lefou: Yeah. Should we get back to it, then?

Maestro Cadenza was playing himself and kicking the mob.

Cadenza: Such sweet music!

Fishmonger: Silence that harpsichord!

Garderobe looks at Cadenza

Garderobe: Maestro!

Cadenza: Darling! At last!

Garderobe :I'm coming, my love. This is it! The fat lady is singing..

She jumped down and vocalize.

Lumiere: Watch your toes!

The mob leaves in terror except for Agathe.

Lumiere: Safe trips home!

Cogsworth: And stay out!

Dick arrives at the castle and mounts off Philippe and ran up to the west wing.
