(I'm doing this chapter in third person to see how it feels aha, sorry for the change.)

The day started off quiet for Saffron, she woke from her nightmare, the face of her deceased family still evident in her mind as she sat up in her bed grasping her chest in heavy breaths, wrapped in molten fur from her two fluffy companions.
It was ten past six when she realised the time, causing her to jump out of her bed and rush outside. The horses had already been let out, and she smiled upon seeing them galloping around the open field, tails sprung high in the sky as they pranced about. The brunette sighed, looking about for the farmiliar dark haired boy, yet couldn't see anything.
She found herself sat in the field, covered in trodden grass. Yet despite the crushed state, it still perked up around her as she laid down, her knotted hair mixing with the soft green feathers of grass. "What is it with you and grass?" the voice made the girl jump, sitting up and turning around. There stood the raven haired boy she had been searching for, his legs taking him in her direction.
The girl bared a smile, looking him up and down before turning back around to face the rising sun, followed by horses grazing before the orange and golden rays of light.
He took a seat beside her, legs spreading before him as hers tucked into her chest, her arms wrapping around them. "You okay?" He asked her, concerned for the smaller girl as she curled into herself, as if hiding herself away from the world.
"Fine." Was her reply, a small huff followed her singular word. "Are you okay?" She replied, her voice small as she boy stared down at her, both admiration and worry swarming his mind. "What's wrong?" He asked, completely ignoring her question. "Answer me first." She huffed out, raising her head and resting it on his shoulder. He only shook his head. "Talk to me Saff." He mumbled under his breath, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and pulling her further into him.
"I'm fine, just answer me Isaac." She begged, the feeling inside her stomach growing as his body pressed to the side of her own. "Please." He pleaded, using a hand to raise her chin to look up at him.
His eyes bore off into hers as hers did his. Brown meeting green as they denied to remove the gap sized contact. "You can't look at me like that." The girl told him.
What Isaac hadn't realised, were the stars in his eyes, glistening down upon his world, shining upon her like she were the only thing that mattered. "Like what?" He mumbled, his eyes tearing away from hers, ripping the rope he never wished to break. "Like you want to kiss me." Saffron replied, pulling her chin from his grasp and leaning her head back on his shoulder.
It was silent from then, not even the pair of runners jogging past them caught their attention. It was just them in that small moment.

The brunette girl sat on a chair in her room, pressed up against her vanity as she brushed long strokes through her thick hair.
The two large dogs sat at her feet, underneath the space under her vanity that was all too small for the pair combined. Repeatedly, they shuffled back and fourth, ultimately just deciding on laying on both her feet - and eachother.
They stared up at her, eyes evidently soft as she slightly bounced her head side to side, My Kind of Woman playing on her speaker softly as she hummed along.
