There shouldn't be any errors...if there is then sorry

"Mother I love you but...why are we here?" I asked as I we walked into a bridal shop with Harmony and Jasmine, the two of them were just giggling like shit was funny.

"When I found out that you and Shota were now dating, I just had to bring you here, always need to be prepared,  I think you'd look great in a mermaid dress,"

I sighed but seeing the excitement on my mother made me keep going.

Trying on all these dresses had me feeling like a Barbie doll, it was fun for the most part, but I really just wanted to be in my bed.

"Okay last dress!" My mother said watching me go in the back.

When I got there, this lovely mermaid dress was here. It was off the shoulders which had lace on the "sleeves" and had that poof on the bottom that was a big trail.

I put it on smiling then walked out to show them.

"I like this one a lot, I actually want it," I smiled at them then my mother started jumping up and down like crazy.

"I'm so glad! I hope he proposes real soon,"

I don't...last time I was engaged, the worst happened.

When I finally got home, I went straight to my room and threw some clothes on then hopped in bed.

It was so warm, so fluffy, felt as if I was being absorbed into a freshly baked cake.

"The fuck?!" I said as I got out of bed and put my robe and matching slippers on then walked downstairs.

I open the door quickly, almost making it seem like I was going to break it but I saw Shota.

He had a bouquet of roses and a takeout bag.

"Why are you here?" I asked opening the door wider for him "I missed you, haven't seen you for about a week," he sighed as he placed the food down then put the flowers in a vase.

"You don't miss me?" He asked and I sighed "I do but I wasn't expecting to see you today Shota,"

He shrugs then sat down at the Island then I joined him a little later.

"Your mother called me today as well," he said then laughed when he saw my face.

"What did she say?"

"Just asking how I am and telling me about the day you both had together,"

I hummed, but then remembered how my mother is.

"So, she told you about ou-"

"Your trip to the bridal shop? Of course, not love,"

I rolled my eyes at him then opened the bag seeing some ramen, he knows how to make someone smile, I guess.

"She told me you bought a dress," he said, and I nod, I hope he wasn't going to ask to see the dress.

"I didn't want to buy it, but I actually liked it, even though I probably won't ever wear it,"

Shota's face dropped slightly, and he gave me a look of curiosity.

"Why not? You don't think you'd ever get married?" He asked.

I looked away, thinking about ever getting married has left my mind ever since I was with William, it felt strange to see me actually walking down an aisle though it used to be one of my dreams when I was a teenager.
