The note. The god damn note.

The note is what gotten Jamie to drive like a crazy person in the first place. She was in distress. For the first time in a really long time she felt like she could lose the love of her life for good. But she wasn't gonna let that happen. Absolutely not.

"Come on, you bloody car. I'm in a hurry." Jamie murmured annoyed under her breath as she tightens her grip on the steering wheel while putting her foot down more on the accelerator. For some reason it felt to her like the car was only going ten kilometers per hour, but meanwhile she was actually going over a hundred kilometers already. Luckily it was late in the night, and there weren't many cars on the road. But the ones that were, god they were in Jamie's way. She was worried, so worried.

Jamie stared blankly ahead at the road before her, thinking about everything that could go wrong right now. But she didn't care, she truly didn't give a damn. All she could care about now was Dani.

When she woke up, only about 15 minutes ago, and held that note in her hand that basically said Dani's goodbye to her, she couldn't believe it. Dani was saying farewell.

Jamie, my love.

I love you with every piece of me.

Please don't ever forget that.

-Dani

As Jamie thinks back to the note, the tears in her eyes started to form."I can't lose you Dani." She mumbled and sniffled while shaking her head. This relatively short drive to Bly Manor felt like a life time to Jamie. Time was going fast and that was exactly what she, and especially Dani, didn't have right now. Viola was finally taking her down to the lake where it all started.

Here she was, standing in the lake. Her body was halfway under and covered in the black, muddy water. Dani couldn't exactly remember how she even got here in the first place, but the one thing that she did remember was both her hands making their way to Jamie's neck, almost choking her to death earlier this night. Luckily she snapped out of that dream state with the last bit of mental strength and self control that she had. But after that... everything went black and dull.

She couldn't feel anything anymore, well, only one thing; emptiness.

"I promise it'll all be over soon." Viola's voice echoed inside Dani's head."All you gotta do is let go. Let go of who you are and walk further into the lake. Give into it."

Dani was trying to fight Viola mentally. She was trying so hard to not give into the emptiness that was creeping up on her more with every step she took, the emptiness that Viola was responsible for."I-I am stronger than you." She mumbled, her body shivering a bit from the cold water.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that. If you were, you wouldn't be here right now, Danielle."

As Dani listens to Viola's words, she shook her head and stopped in her tracks, the water all the way up to her chin already."No. Stop. You're wrong." She said, a slight tone of both anger and frustration in her voice.

"Am I now? Remember what you almost did to your beloved Jamie earlier this night? Do you really want to continue living like that? In fear? A fear of killing the one person that actually loves you?"
