We don't really know what the Cryo Archon looks like,  so bare with me.

"She's going to be fine,  let her rest."
"I'm honestly surprised you even know a sliver of medical knowledge,  you focus more on experimental projects than anything health related."
"Sandrone,  you lack faith in my knowledge and capabilities.   I learned a few things back in my days at the Akademiya."

The voices in the room held me anchored between being awake and falling back into an unconscious state.

"Is she really... "

A gentle and rich voice accompanied Sandrone and Dottore,  it's very pleasant to listen to.   Almost feminine.

"Yes,  so much information was given to her yesterday that it's no wonder she passed out."   Sandrone sighed and held my hand.
"I see,  then it's best to leave her be then.
Let's go,  Dottore. "   He seethed a little as he put emphasis on Dottore's name.
"Excuse me,  I'm the doctor here."
He argued,  sounding further and further away while talking.   "Scientist is more like it."  Sandrone mumbled after the door to the room was closed.

"Sandrone,  have I really been asleep the whole day?"   She jumped since she didn't expect me to talk yet.   "Less than 24 hours,  yes,  but it's 12 in the afternoon now.   You were out the whole night."    I sat up and gazed at her.   "What kind of relation do I have with her Majesty?"
She hesitated,  "We... Don't exactly know.   We had a meeting after your black out,  we got news that The Tsaritsa wants to see you.
When you're 100% of course."
This is just getting crazier and crazier.
"Get some more rest Y/n,  you'll need it."

My hands shook as I put on my warm cloak out side of the room The Tsaritsa resided in,  definitely not ready for what was about to happen.   I look to the Fatui agents that waited for me and nod,  letting them know they can open the door.    Hot vapor left my mouth after the doors were opened,  cold air quickly flooding toward any persons passing by.    My boots made noise as I walked toward the throne,  where Her Majesty The Tsaritsa sat.   Her scrutinizing glare softened upon seeing me,  just a little though.    I carefully knelt down and bowed my head,  waiting for her to speak as was customary.     Footsteps approached me,  but I dare not look up.

"Child,  look it me."

I did as told and locked eyes with her,
her ice like grace and beauty held me in awe.  There is no possible way I am related to an Archon such as her.    "Bring her a chair, now!"
A Fatui agent rushed out the door and came back in,  placing a chair by her Majesty's throne.
"Leave us!"
And just like that all who had been present were no gone,  leaving just The Tsaritsa and I.    "We has a lot to talk about.   Stand and come with me."    I did,  following her back the the throne.    I sat on a step closer to the throne while she sat on the throne itself.

"Y/n L/n,  sit and prepare yourself.  What I am about to tell you has never left my lips,  no one alive knows aside from me.   Centuries ago I was coaxed into an affair,  no marriage or anything of the like was in his agenda.   The incident happened not long after I had lost someone dear to me,  a friend... you could say.    I man who I had know for some time came to console me,  due to my awry emotions I hadn't anticipated that he would take advantage of me.  Due to my blind ignorance and lack of sense I had not long after become pregnant with a child."

"Y/n,  you are my illegitimate descendant."

"I-I am?  But how is that possible?"
"It was a mistake I greatly regret.   A mistake I made out of pain from loss after the Archon war.   One tends to do unthinkable things when feeling great sorrow,  but that is in the past.    I've kept an eye on my child,  even if I couldn't raise him myself.    I had loathed him and those who were born of him,   but I can't keep despising someone for my own fault.    I've only recently decided to take you under my wing,  hence that ball I chose to put on.    It is what I should have done many years ago,   Welcoming home those who are of my flesh and blood.   Legitimate or not."

My whole life has been a living Hell,  but this moment has been worth it.
Tears streamed down my cheeks as I felt what I never expected to feel,   happiness.
Even if it was for just a moment,  it was beautiful.

"I might as well take you on as my own daughter."

I nod and smile,  holding back happy sobs.

"I give you full permission to visit me,  and call me mother."

I jump up and hugged her,  only realizing I did after her arms fully embraced me back.
"It's settled then my daughter,  the ball will take place very soon."
I gasp and grin,  "Masquerade Ball?!"
"But of course.   Now,  let us be off then."
Shock spread across my face,  "You're leaving the throne room?"
"Yes,  I have to make sure no one crosses me.
Especially my decisions as if today."

This is insane,  I'm surprised I'm not dreaming right now.   I wasn't expecting to be walking the halls with The Tsaritsa.
But the Fatui's reaction was priceless.
