129 AC DRAGONSTONE
...
Earlier that day
"I have to tell you something"
Valyria started, as she and Daemon sat on the edge of a cliff, watching the sea.Her father turned his head, curiously.
"You — you know how I have this — bond — between me and Irudy?"
She played with her hands, and kept her face towards the ground.
Daemon stared at his daughter, not getting where she is going with this.
"Yes—"
"I have lied. Fifteen years, I've faked it to you."
The rogue prince had noticed something; most times he had a conversation with his daughter, he was more confused at the end.
"What do you mean?"
"I don't sense what she is feeling, I don't have a connection with her, because —"
Daemon became even more confused.
"Because I am her. I see trough her eyes, as well as my own. If she's in pain, I'm in pain."
Her father stayed silent.
"People say that their swords are an extension of their arm, and that is how I feel about her."
Valyria forced her head to face her father, who had turned his head down.
She stared at his dull expression, not knowing how he reacted.
"Say something, please father."
Daemon looked to his daughter, contemplating his next words.
"So you have full control over her?"
"You could say that."
"Can you do it now?"
"Father, you do not understand. I'm her. The same way you control both of your arms, I control both myself and Irudy."
"Where is she now?"
Valyria didn't respond, only looked at the sky.
Suddenly, Daemon saw the pale dragon fly overhead them.
"This — this is incredible." He said as he gazed at the sky.
"This — is a hex. My mind is so complicated, like it's split into two. I can't keep up. Something like this is not possible, one human life cannot control two souls."
"Valyria. You are miracle, a gift from the gods. You can handle anything."
He placed his hand on his daughter's shoulder, and pulled her in for a hug."Thank you, father."
...
"Follow me, Valyria. I have an idea."
Daemon led his daughter outside, where his dragon was waiting."This might be too far fetched, but we have to try."
"What do you mean—" Valyria tried.
"This — thing you have, if we could extend it, to other dragons. After you told me this, I spent the rest of my afternoon studying this northern thing called warging. 'Tis when you can see through the eyes of an animal, and control it's mind."
Daemon opened an old book, covered on dust in his chambers. Valyria leaned in, and read parts of the page open.
"I believe that you could do this not only with Irudy, but with other dragons, too."
"This is madness, father. That kind of usage of my strength, it could be the end of me."
"Go to the North, with Jacarys. The Queen will send him there, and to the Vale to ask for their support, and men. The Warden of the North knows more about this than I," Daemon put bit if his hand on his daughter's shoulders. "I have asked more from you that a father ever should of his daughter, but this is fatal, to our line succeeding."
The princess shed a tear as she looked to her father. "I have lost you to this war."
His eyes dropped at the words of his other half, as she walked out of the room.
...
"We need to secure enough swords to surround King's Landing. As such, we need to guarantee the support of Winterwell, the Eyrie, and Storm's End. I'll prepare the ravens, Your Grace."
"We should bear those messages. Dragons can fly faster than ravens and they are far more convincing." Jace told the council.
"Send us." Valyria chimed in, which made Daemon pay attention.
"The prince and princess are right, Your Grace."
Rhaenyra thought for a moment, then seemed to agree.
"Very well. Prince Jacaerys and princess Visenya will fly with their dragons north. First to Lady Jeyne Arryn, and then to Winterfell to treat Lord Gregan Stark for the support of the North."
Valyria and Jace looked at each other, and smiled discreetly.
"Prince Lucerys will fly south to Storm's End and treat with Lord Borros Baratheon. We must remind these lords of the oaths they swore."
"And the cost of breaking them."

As the new season of HoTD starts of, so does the end of act one in this story that I have not had the time to finish.
