"Do you really have to go " my bestfriend Cindy says.
My room door opens and reveales my other bestfriend Aiden . They have been my best friends for 2 years now and never left my side. I could not live here anymore i needed to leave.
"Genny you do not need to leave so far or even leave town" i live in a little town called Hemit but im moving to Seattle .
"I do Aiden, this will be for the best " me and Aiden had a thing for each other but never took it to that stage. I may have feelings but i did not want to ruin a friendship with him.
Aiden took my hand in his and looked into eyes , with his left hand he cupped my cheek while rubbing his thumb over my cheek " please be careful" he whispered
"What about your Jodi and Isaac" Cindy said worrily , i got out of my trance with Aiden and looked over to were Cindy was sitting " im 18 its summer and i graduated high school already, i can leave wherever and whenever" i crossed my arms over my chest .
"How will you support yourself , where will you go, how will you get there" Cindy rambled with so many questions . "Cindy remember that cafe i worked at " she nodded her head
"Well i saved up my money to buy a plane ticket and made extra for when i get there" i said
"I still think this is a bad idea Genny, you will be alone and anything can happen to you" her eyes started to get watery
"Please dont cry Cindy come help me pack i have a few hours before Jodi wakes up and Isaac come home" she nodded her head and helped me pack.
I know this will be a great idea , i can handle myself. I raised myself for crying out loud and learned everything on my own.
My suitcase was almost full of clothes and important belongings "well its time for me to leave " i said looking at the ground. I new if i look into there eyes i will cry and might change my mind. "Genny look at us " Aiden said
Tears started forming already "dont cry stay strong this is for the best,", i chanted in my head . They pulled me in for a hug and they hugged me tightly. When they finally let go i knew it was time.
I started walking downstairs with both my bestfriend following behind me. We walked quietly downstairs for we dont wake Jodi. Once we were out the door we started walking to the car .
"Well this is it once again" i tell them
"If you ever ch-" Cindy began to say
"Cindy please this will be the best for me, i will stay in touch ok dont worry for me, i can do this ok, just let me feel free " i tell her , she nodded her haid and ran to hug me tight "you better stay in touch" she hugged me tighter.
"Ok dont kill her now" Aiden patts her shoulder and she finally lets go. "I will miss you Genny, please stay in touch and contact us if you ever need help or have trouble " i rolled me eyes "guys i ca-"
"We know you can handle yourself but were just reminding you, you have friends here that care for you and we will always be here for you" he stroked my cheek . I open my arms and he hugged me tight. " i will always love you Genny" he said and finally let go.
I open the car and started the engine. Thoughts of my childhood go through my head , i know this will be the right thing to do . I let out a sigh and reverse the car , i wave to my bestfriend and mouthed a "i love you" to them and sped off.
Start of a new life, start of a new chapter in my life. I pray this will be a good idea for me , a tear slipps but i wipe it away quickly. "This will do us good i know it will " i thought to myself continue my way to the airport.
