How the world works
Werewolves: Werewolves live in packs, and live together in pack houses. There is always one Alpha with two Betas (sort of like, right hand men), and the oldest child is always the next in line. Werewolves age slower than normal humans. One werewolf year = ten human years. When shifted, wolves can communicate telepathically and they can feel each other's emotions through the Pack Bond (they only have this when they are part of a pack). Twin wolves have the ability to communicate telepathically whether they are shifted or not.
Shifting: The Alpha wolf is always much larger than it's pack members, and they have silver eyes. Beta's are regular wolf sized, and have light blue eyes. Regular wolves have yellow eyes. To be made into a werewolf, an Alpha has to bite you. Werewolves can shift anytime they like but during a full moon, they cannot shift during the day. When they are forced to shift on the night of a full moon, it is uncontrollable and painful. A wolf that has shifted during a full moon will lose all self control as their wolf will have taken complete control.
