The day Ciel found you was in the middle of winter so of course it was snowing quite hard. Here you were badly beaten and huddled in a corner, barely showing any form of life before Ciel and his butler, Sebastian. All you remember was someone holding you, whoever it was was really warm... It was comforting to say the least so you managed to doze off. When you woke up, your wounds, bruises, and blisters were all bandaged and had ointment on them but your body still ached.
The bed was soft and comfortable and the lighting itself was nice as well, probably because it was already late at night. "Ah, I see you've woken up." A man's voice said, snapping you back into reality. The strange man was wearing butler attire. You wondered how long he had been here since you didn't hear any breathing or anything of that sort.
"How are your wounds? Any pain or discomfort?" He would question him as he examined your bandaged arms, neck and face before you quickly snatched yourself away from him. A puzzled look had formed on your face. "Who are you? Where am I?" You began to ask, your tone urgent as well as nervous. "Don't move too fast, you'll cause your wounds to open back up again." He directed, a small frown on his lips. "For starters, my name is Sebastian. I'm the butler of the boy that owns this entire place." He said as he continued to examine your body despite you putting up a little fight.
"My young master instructed me to tend to you till you've fully recover. So please calm down or I'll have to strap you to the bed." Sebastian bantered with a small smile as he closed his eyes a little sending chills down your spine. From the looks of it, he most definitely wasn't joking so you had decided to obey and not put up a fight if you wanted some form of freedom. "What is your name?" Sebastian asked once he finished examining everything and saw that you were healing up just fine. "Y/n.." You mumbled as you relaxed back onto the bed.
"Well y/n, how about you continue to rest to make your healing process faster yes?" Sebastian suggested as he turned off the little lamp that sat neatly in the center of the table near the bed. "If you feel any discomfort just say my name or ring this bell and I'll be here as soon as I can. Have a good night." He said before leaving and closing the door behind him. You laid there wide awake as you stared out the large window, it allowed most of the moonlight to reflect into the room you were staying in.
All of this was so...confusing. First, you were beaten to a bloody pulp for something that you didn't even do or cause and now you're being taken care of by someone's butler. "How strange." You sighed before pulling the blanket over your body more and closed your eyes.
It had taken about a week an a half for you to fully recover, the ache in your body and sharp pains had all disappeared thankfully but now you were being taken to an unknown part of the manor. You were also forced to wear a butler attire just like Sebastian's, it wasn't comfortable in the slightest but you couldn't be too picky since these people saved you from practically kissing death. Sebastian had opened a door for you leading you inside of a rather large office and inside was a...boy?
He couldn't be no older than twelve from the looks of it. "I'm glad to see you've healed properly y/n." The boy said, a small but barely noticeable smile had formed on his lips. "Oh, um yes. I followed his advice which was to sleep more." You mumbled and gestured to Sebastian who had a neutral look on his face.
"I'm glad to hear that. Now that you're well enough to travel again, do you have anywhere to go?" He had asked making you freeze up a little before looking down at the ground and shaking your head no shamefully. "Figured." The boy sighed as he lightly drummed his fingers on the table as he thought about what he should do. "Very well, you can stay here on one condition." He spoke after a few minutes as he sat up properly in his seat. "And that is?" You questioned him with a raised brow.
"Become my butler." He said plainly, catching you by surprise.
"I beg your pardon?" You stammered, wanting to make sure what he had said was exactly what you've heard. "Don't tell me you've gone deaf." The boy sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose a little. "I said I want you to become my butler. A very simple and easy job, you'll be fed, clothed, and housed as long as you work for me. Deal?" He instructed with a small smirk plastered onto his lips as Sebastian went over to him and stood next to him making the boy look more elegant than he already did.
You pondered for a bit, wondering if you should take the offer or not. If you did, everything that he had said would most likely come true, but if you didn't you'd most likely freeze to death, die of starvation, or some drunk or anyone matter a fact would come and end your miserable life in seconds. "Deal." You said with a small nod, hopefully you had made the right decision to be the butler of an unknown boy who for some reason owned an entire manor and a large plot of land.
"If I may ask, what is your name?" You asked the boy.
"Oh pardon my rudeness, Ciel Phantomhive. From this day forward I'll be your master and you must serve me, understood?" He said bluntly making you nod your head reluctantly.
