jessica scott was a simple girl.

with a dream of travelling and a passion for writing, she pushed herself throughout her education and secured herself a job that allowed her to to fully peruse her dreams and passions.

with her bestfriend by her side, jessica travelled the world, getting to visit so many beautiful places. collecting memories that would last her a life time. everything was perfect.

the one thing jessica scott didn't have was a relationship. originally she never saw herself wanting to be in one, loving her books and her travels. but after watching her bestfriend holly fall in love and spend 3 magical years with her boyfriend, jessica began to wonder what it would be like if she herself found her person, her soulmate if you will.

thanks to her love for reading and the romance genre being her favourite. jessica had a pretty good idea of what a healthy relationship looked like. with the help of her bestfriend and her boyfriend, jessica was certain she was ready to find the one. but with her being the awkward and shy person she was, it was hard to get herself out there. she needed help, and lucky for her, holly was geared up and ready to aid her bestfriend.

"right bestie, i need to pee" holly announces as soon as the two bestfriend enter the club. jess laughs and shakes her head, having thought that this would happen when they had been pre drinking at the apartment. "of course you do, never change holly, never change" jess smiles, leaning her head on her bestfriend's shoulder.

holly just giggles, dragging jess through the mass group of people all dancing and singing along to the music.

the two find the bathroom and jess is immediately stuck with the bags, leaning herself against the sink as she waits for holly to do her business. "tonight we are going to find you a man" holly yells from the cubicle. "and what makes you think i want that to happen?" jess asks. a scoff is heard from the cubicle, causing jess to chuckle.

"jess come on, you keep saying how nice it would
he to find someone, clubs are a great place to meet people!" holly yells from the cubicle, still slightly tipsy from the pre drinks. "i don't think it is, most of these people are drunk, plus you don't go to a club to get into a relationship, you go to a club to get laid" jess replies, wanting a gasp from holly.

"oh come on, just because i don't go out, doesn't mean i don't understand things" jess reasons. holly emerges from the cubicle, slightly stumbling over to the sinks. "i thought you said you didn't have time to keep up with pop culture" she taunts, sticking her tongue out.

jess gently shoves her bestfriends shoulder, the two giggling to themselves, not noticing the door to the toilets opening, a tall tanned girl sprinting inside.

"excuse me! do any of you have a tampon? i thought i had some but i forgot to put them in my bag" the girl asks. jess looks over at the girl, smiling as she quickly looks in her bag, stifling around before pulling out a tampon. "here!" she says as she offers the tampon to the girl, he face brightening.

"oh my god you're a life saver!" she says. "don't worry about it, girls gotta stick with eachother" jess smiles.

throughout this whole interaction holly stands with her mouth agape, staring at the tall brunette standing next to her bestfriend. "oh my days, you're lily muni he! you're alex albon's girlfriend!" holly exclaims, hand clamped over her mouth.

jess looks over at her bestfriend, and then back to the girl in front of the girls. the girl smiles and giggles, "you like formula one?" lily asks. holly nods her head, "well technically i got into formula one because of you, my dad loves golf and i am such a huge fan of yours, it just so happens you're dating a formula one driver" holly rambles.

"you're so sweet oh my god" lily blushes. jess stands watching the interaction, remembering previous conversations about lily and alex appearing in her comment section. "oh! this is my bestfriend, you commented on her post about the cottage in bridlington" holly gasps, clutching jess's shoulder.

lily's eyes beam at jess, "oh yeah! i thought i recognised you, i've been sorta stalking your insta since i saw the cottage, you've really been to so many beautiful places" lily gushes, jess's cheeks reddening at the praise.

"i'd love to hear more about it, let me sort myself out and you're both more than welcome to join me and my friends" lily offers, holly immediately nodding her head in approval, not even waiting for jess to consider the offer.

"great! just give me a few secs" lily quips, hopping into a cubicle.
