The definition of macabre is "disturbing and horrifying because of involvement with or depiction of death and injury" so please do recognize the meaning and the warning I am about to list.
Content and Trigger Warnings:
-Death
-Blood/Gore
-Drinking and smokingThis takes place during the French Third Republic, from the 1870s-1940, and the star of our show is France himself.
I speak no French, so bare with me if I use an app to translate. Feel free to correct me on my spelling and grammar (in any language). I speak only speak English fluently so any other language I doubt would be perfect unless other people who do speak the language help. Thank you for your patience.
I do have countries and states having human names, but if there is anyone that ever refers to them by their human name, I will add a note of which country it is as I do not expect my readers to know the names of all the countries. Not only that but the different versions have different names and for each canonical 'death' they have a new name so it's really messy. I won't put you all through the trouble of trying to remember.
And finally, this book is made purely for my entertainment and to fuel my boredom. I do not care if you dislike it. I'm the one making it. This won't be researched too much because it's all for fun.
