backstory

I know this is like really late in the story but I wanna give y'all a backstory so the description makes more sense

June 23rd 2018 9:00pm Atlanta,GA

AJ and her best friend and Co worker shayla Evans were running around being normal 16 year Olds when one of their 'bosses' walk up to them

"evening girls um so mr.owens told me y'all didn't follow orders earlier

---------1 week ago -------------

"WE'RE sorry Mr.owens we were just exploring " shayla tried to explain

" well you know the saying 'curiosity killed the cat' well you were curious so imma have to kill you both so you don't yap to anyone and get us caught"

"WHAT why would you hire teenagers if you know that their curious"

"for population control so say your goodbyes because in the next 2 weeks you both will be dead"

----------present time----------
"So you see shayla and Axel you disobeyed boss you get consequences" then another man came out with a gun an started chasing the girls

"RUN SHAY" AJ exclaimed starting to run

10 minutes later

AJ'pov

As I'm running for dear life I didn't hear breathing behind me signaling shay wad there when I turned around she wasn't there I heard a gunshot and I started running toward it when I got back to the park I saw the two men standing over a body with blood around it

"dammit carl we lost the other one" man 1 said

"well I tried to catch her that girl must've done track or some shit"
carl exclaimed

when they left I walked up to the body and saw her shayla Evans my best friend was laying there dead with a hole right between her eyes blood pooled around her head I ran the other way when I heard the men come back probably to clean up the mess when I got home I just started crying then I feel a stinging sensation in my upper arm I look at my white shirt that had a huge red stain on the arm I must've gotten grazed by the bullet and that's why I have a tattoo so no one can see the scar
