"We shouldn't have told her," Jeongin said as he looked at her walking away with her friend Aakash. They all had stayed inside the house when Aakash turned up and she did not even bother to tell them goodbye. She just walked away. "She has been ignoring us for more than a day now." Chan said to the maknae. What they didn't know was that - she wasn't angry with them. She was scared. Scared of losing the family she'd recently gotten. She felt she'd start crying when she confronted them - hence she decided to distance herself. Or better, run away.

"Have you searched for her everywhere?" Chan asked, worried. The eight were gloomily sitting on the couch reading the note she'd written for them.
Dear brothers,
I can never tell you how much I respect you guys. Whatever you say - I am still a burden. I know that. Chan bhaiya, take care of your little brothers AND take care of yourself too. I'd be somewhere far away soon, watching you all perform on YouTube. Felix and Hyunjin, stay safe <3. I can never tell you how much I am grateful to all of you. Jisung bhaiya, remember the coffee powder is on the right side of the top shelf. It's a red box. Minho, stop being cold. Okay? If you're wondering why I must go, there is a significant reason: I fear forming deeper attachments with all of you. If something were to happen to any of you, it would devastate me completely. I believe my departure will bring good fortune to you all. Perhaps we can witness your collective singing for eternity. Please, do not concern yourselves about me. I will ensure my safety.
-Jagiya (Aarohi)
Jeongin couldn't stop crying. He covered his mouth and kneeled to the ground. Chan on the other hand, took the car key and rode frantically to each bus stand and each railway station. Finally Chan saw Aarohi sitting on the footpath, rubbing her hands as she was cold. Chan ran to her and kneeled in front of her - "Forgive me Aarohi. Don't go. I hate it when family leaves." "Its not your fault, its my fault Chris" Aarohi said.
"How is it your fault?" he asked her and she answered - "I bring bad luck Chan bhaiya, my bad luck killed my mother and then my father. It did not even leave my real brother alone. They all died because of me. Now if Felix and Hyunjin bhaiyas are getting the threats it means it is due to me right?" she said crying. Chan removed his mask and assured her - "See my face - it looks bloated right? It was because I cried during my search for you. However, please know that you were never a burden, Aarohi. In reality, the threats began long before our paths crossed. I believe you are already aware of this. Your presence had a calming effect on everyone. Felix struggled with insomnia and had poor health. But on the day you arrived, we discovered him peacefully asleep beside you. Given these changes, do you still believe you bring bad luck?"
They both noticed a black car pulling behind them and they turned to find Hyunjin and Changbin getting out of the car. "Jagiya!" Hyunjin exclaimed and ran to hug her. He didn't let go until Changbin pulled him away from her. Changbin turned to Aarohi and said - "I am disappointed in you Aarohi. You just assumed things and ran away? Do you have any idea how much it affected Jeongin and Felix? They both became sick the moment they read the letter and now their skin is burning with temperature. Jeongin is muttering something in his sleep continuously and Felix is sleeping with discomfort seen in his face. They both are suffering Aarohi. And I - do you even know how much it hurt me to see the empty house? It felt empty without you. Even though we all were there it felt empty."
"They are sick?" both Chan and Aarohi said at the same time. Everyone drove to the house once again (With Aarohi) and knocked on the door. Jisung opened the door and they heard Seungmin screaming - "Jisung, you left the soup on the stove!" "Everyone is here...with Aarohi!!!" Jisung screamed hugging her. She felt welcome once again. Seungmin ran to the entrance and hugged both Jisung and Aarohi. Aarohi struggled out of their grip and then she walked to the room where, she guessed, the sick duo were sleeping. And she was right. Felix lay still, lost in the grips of a fever-induced slumber. His breathing was shallow, his body burning with fever. Aarohi checked on him, worry etched deeply on her face, but Felix didn't stir, deeply entrenched in his feverish dreams. Jeongin, on the other hand, seemed to rouse from his restless sleep, albeit weakly. His eyes fluttered open, dazed and disoriented, seeking comfort in the familiar presence of his sister. With great effort, he reached out for Aarohi, his hand trembling as he clung onto her with all the strength he could muster. He sat up despite her pleas to not do that. "Aarohi," Jeongin murmured, his voice barely audible, filled with exhaustion. Jeongin's grip tightened slightly, his body trembling with fatigue. "It hurts... everything hurts," he said and she smiled - "I'm here and it won't hurt anymore. I promise."
She glanced at Felix once and then walked out to instruct Jisung to buy fever-reducing pills. When Jisung and Chan left, she was inside the room dabbing a lukewarm towel over Felix's neck and arms. She kept a lukewarm damp towel on his forehead and pressed it slightly. While she was taking care of him, Hyunjin was made to sit beside Jeongin and help him with drinking the soup. The others were sitting in the living room, talking about random stuff.
Guilt washed over her, feeling responsible for their suffering. She had never intended to cause them such anguish. As dawn broke, Felix stirred, his fever slowly subsiding. He weakly opened his eyes, meeting Aarohi's gaze filled with concern and love. "Y-You are here?" he asked, smiling. She nodded and then checked his temperature once again. "Felix. I'm sorry. I never meant to make you worry like this. I'm here, I'm not leaving. I promise." she said all in one go and hugged him. "I am so sorry Lix and you too Jeongin. I-I just faced something like this in the past and...gosh it was selfish of me to go. I won't hereafter. I promise."
Hyunjin smiled at her words. None of the Stray Kids wanted her to go.
