HELA AVRIL DAYANGHIRANG doesn't have a good reputation unlike her father, a history professor in University of Oslo. No one wanted to befriend her because of how she treats others. But that's not the least of her problems. Mythological monsters and Norse gods seem to be walking straight out of her father's profession and into her life.
And worse, she starts to see the spirits wandering around in the city, trying to communicate with her. A horrifying giant dog of the underworld, two flesh looking people wearing a servant uniform, telling her that her mom is in danger, so is her life . . .

. . . and the world, and a middle aged man asking her to join an agency for demigods appeared before her, telling her that her father was kidnapped by the dark elves.
Now that she's all alone, and filled with questions, Hela must face them on her own. Evil forces are coming to hunt her, and demand to hand over the lost relics of death which she knows nothing about.
