As the sun painted the sky in hues of dawn, the household stirred into a symphony of activity. The aroma of freshly made Chai mingled with the sizzle of Parathas in the kitchen, while hurried footsteps echoed through the hallways.
Muffled conversations and clinking dishes created a lively background score as everyone worked in unison to prepare for the impending arrival of Zoheb & his family, Yes, to finalize the date for the Ruksati. Sumaira had no idea about him coming.
The air was charged with excitement, and the hustle and bustle of the morning transformed the home into a bustling hub of anticipation and warm hospitality.
Amidst the morning chaos, Sumaira's mischievous sister-in-law(Our very own Mrs. Umaira) burst into the room with a plate and spoon, banging them together like a makeshift alarm.
"Rise and shine, sleepyhead! Zoheb Bhai is on his way, and you don't want him catching you in mismatched socks, right?" she teased, a sly grin on her face. Sumaira, half-asleep and disheveled, couldn't help but chuckle at the comedic wake-up call.
But the former part of Umaira's sentence acted like an Alarm and her sleep was gone in a second.
"What??...Kon aaraha hai?" She hurriedly sat up.
"Kon?? Maine kuch bola kya?...mai toh bas tumhe uthane aayi thi" Umaira tried to leave but Sumaira was fast enough to stand before her.
"Ek second You said na Zoheb is on his way?" Confused, Sumaira asked.
"Maine kab bola?? Kya khawaab dekh Rahi thi kya?" Umaira said with all the world’s innocence plastered on her face.
"Jhoot mat bolo!!!...nahi toh ye chammach or plate lekar kyu aayi thi uthane mujhe and it's not like I sleep behosh hoke" Sumaira tried to make her point.
Umaira couldn't hold her laughter and burst out laughing.
"Meri pyaari Bhabhi jaaaaannn...Aapne sahi suna tha...Zoheb bhai aarahe hain" Umaira pinched her cheeks.
"What really?" Sumaira asked as a cheeky smile spread across her face.
"Han ji aur ab neeche se phuppho ke orders aaye hain ki aap jaldi se ready ho jayein kyuki woh log bas pahoch rahe hain" Umaira informed her.
"Oh my gawddd aurr tum Mera baton mein time waste kar rahi ho....Door hato" Sumaira slightly pushed her aside and ran towards the washroom to get ready, leaving a smiling Umaira behind.

In the softly lit room, Umaira tiptoed to wake up her husband, Talal. Instead of the usual gentle shake, she opted for a playful tactic. With a mischievous grin, she whispered,
"Wake up, Sleeping Beauty! Your chariot to the kitchen awaits."
Talal, half-asleep, mumbled, "I'm not a prince," to which Umaira replied, "Well, you're my prince, and the kingdom of breakfast is calling."
Talal had been working late the previous night and had only gone to sleep after his Fajr prayer. As he rubbed his eyes, he couldn't help but chuckle at his wife's unique wake-up call, turning his morning into a whimsical romance.
