The man mysteriously appeared once again, the next day, with his back leaning against the gate, his fedora tilted down, and his lips pressed into a tight frown.
Tsuna stifled a giggle as she wheeled herself as quietly as she could to the gate, and bent herself forward.
With the graceful swipe of her long, weak fingers, she stole the man's fedora.
"Signore, if you keep your face in such an unpleasant frown, it might freeze like that!"
The man grumbled irritably as he ran his hands through his spiked black hair. Tsuna giggled... His sideburns were just so curly!
"Please, if you'd be so kind to give my hat back to me, I'd greatly appreciate it."
The Japanese woman smiled at him kindly as she wheeled herself backwards, and to the side before saying, "If you want your fedora back, please, come into the courtyard and chat with a frail woman, would you?"
The man's dark, dark eyes flashed with slight annoyance as he stood up and dusted himself off.
With a heavy sigh he said, "As you wish."
Tsuna smiled at him.
The man probably didn't know why, but she did.
She smiled, and smiled, because that was what she had always (always, always, always) been doing.
She liked to pretend it was her job now.

...
"You're more important than candy!"
...
"Y-You.."
...
"Y-You're..."
