It's been 2 weeks since she stopped working at Credit Union.  She felt like working and being around him would fuck up her focus.  So she quit. She started working with her best friend Bella in her shop she opened up making more money by doing Lace fronts and nails than working at Union Credit. 

"Damn bitch I missed doing this shit," Diamond said sitting down and taking a break. 

"No this is what we suppose to do together.  I have room back in my office that you need and will go set up so you won't be out front with everybody"

"Girl I like being out front. I have no problem with it"

"So you haven't talked to Trevor after you gave it up? "

"No, he's been texting me nonstop.  I just been ignoring him.  I can't and won't be with that man.  I shouldn't have drunk that Hennessy" Diamond said making a puppy dog face. 

"Now you can't say you weren't feeling that man.  And all this caramel ness" Bella said laughing

"Sex was so good.  I think about it all the time. I see why they are coming back. " Diamond said reminiscing.

"You have definitely have feelings for that man. And don't lie"

"I do. And that's why I can't hit this man back up. I'll trap myself forever."

"Well you either text that man back or he pop up on you"

"I hope not. It's been 2 weeks. He would have already"

"Watch he get tired of you ignoring him," Bella said

Diamond thought it about. She wanted to hit him back. Just couldn't and wouldn't.

After the shop closes.  Diamond walks to the back to Bella area. 

"Come over later?" Diamond said grabbing her purse pulling out her cash giving her cut to Bella.

"Keep it. And yeah it'll be over"

"No this my cut," Diamond said still holding it out.

"Well just keep your hand like that. Bye," Bella said kissing Diamond on the cheek not taking the money. "Lock up," Bella said not turning around, cause if she did Diamond would have put it in her purse.

"YOU NOT SLICK" Diamond yells through the shop.

10 pm.

Bella at Diamond watching movies and drinking some red wine when Diamond receives a knock at the door.

"Girl, who the fuck could be knocking at 10?" Bella asked

"Bitch I don't know," Diamond said getting a little nervous.  She went into her bedroom grabbed her gun from under the bed and walked towards the door. 

"Since when did you get a gun? "

"Since I've moved here," Diamond said walking to the door and looking through the peephole seeing it was Trevor. 

"Who is it? " Bella said

"It's Trevor"

"Told you"

Diamond opens the door seeing Trevor looking all sad.  But he notices her gun in her hand. 

"Damn, what you gone shoot me? " He asked

"I ain't know you would pop up.  It could have been anybody"

"Can we talk? " He asked looking at her. 

Diamond looks at him for a second. 

"Yea.  Come on" She said letting him in. 

Walking to the living room he sees Bella. 

"So you must be the mystery man ive been hearing so much about? " Bella said getting up. 

"Hope it's good things," he said

"Some things. You is fine though " Bella said smiling. 

Trevor laughs. 

"Thank you"

"Bella " Diamond said

"Yeah my bad," Bella said sitting back down laughing. 

They walked into Diamond's bedroom shutting the door.  Diamond stood by her dresser while he stood in front of her. 

"So you quit and cut me off? " He said folding his arms. 

"Trevor I couldn't work around you knowing how we both feel about each other.  That would be awkward.  Then you fucked most of them bitches there.  So yeah I cut out"

"You really acting like what happened between us didn't mean shit though"

"it did.  I love it.  But I can...

"Can't wait, Diamond?  Be with me?  Deal with me? "

"It's not just about you Trevor.  I have shit that I'm running away from.....  She stops mid-sentence not trying to say the rest. 

"Running away from what? "

"Nothing," Diamond said turning around on her dresser and putting her head down.  "Fuck" She said to herself.

"Nah tell me now. " Trevor said coming to her and turning her around.

"It's stuff that I'm dealing with too.  So no it's not just about you.  It's a lot okay. And I don't want us to fall out over our problems"

"What are you running away from Diamond?" He said ignoring what she just said.

"Shit I can't handle right now" she said putting her head down. 

"I already caught mad feelings for you and I know you feel the same.  Stop pushing me away.  We just getting to know each other and I don't want that to stop"

Diamond looks up at him. 

"You know I'm telling the truth," he said

"Come here," She said pointing her finger.

Trevor walks over to her as she grabs his face kissing him.  She missed him too.  He picks her up putting her on the dresser. 

"I'm not letting go of you" He said

Diamond rubs his face

"I don't want you too"
