"Fuck, I'll be late for school!" Tara groaned as she struggled to put her socks on. None of her roommates had been nice enough to wake her up before school, so there she was, ten minutes before class, dressing up in a hurry she quite hadn't been in before.
She grabbed the nearest food she could get under her hand before picking up her bag and leaving the dorm. She looked at the time on the giant clock on the wall, on the other side of the big hallway and slowed down when she saw that she would, in fact, be late for school. She sighed in annoyance and walked to her locker.
"Unbelievable," she mumbled to herself as she unlocked her padlock and suddenly, roses flew out of her locker when she opened the door. An envelope laid in her palms and she looked at it curiously. She looked around, but she was alone in the hallway. Tara carefully opened the envelope, making sure she doesn't rip the cute sticker on it.
Tara,
I know we don't see each other much and that I am probably a waste of your time as well as a nuisance to your luck. Everything seems to go into chaos when we are in the same room, nevertheless I can't help but to look your way everytime.
I would like for you to be my girlfriend. Find me in the garden behind the Ravenclaw headquarters. I skipped the first class and am hoping to see you...
- Jeongin.
"Holy shit," she stopped a squeal from slipping out of her mouth as she read the name at the bottom of the page and she quickly folded the letter, placing it carefully in her bag before stuffing it into her locker and walking to the place where Jeongin had told her to meet him.
He was sitting on a rock bench, hands in his pockets and looking forward into the horizon. The soft breeze played with his blond hair and his calm expression made Tara's heart skip a beat.
She carefully walked over to him, waving when he noticed her. He smiled as his cheeks turned a small pink and her whole face turned almost red. She hated how ugly her shy state made her.
"Hey.
- Hi," she breathed out, sat next to him on the bench and for a moment, they were silent. Confessions and accepting them weren't something they had to go through daily and the both of them were as nervous as each other.
"I...
- I like you too," Tara turned her head to look away from Jeongin, because if she looked into his eyes, she believed she would start crying in embarrassment. Her heart thumped in her chest and she thought she might evaporate right then and there.
"Really?" Jeongin was smiling like an idiot. But, she couldn't see that, obviously. He looked down at her palm laying flat on the surface of their seat and he hesitated a little before he hooked his pinky with hers, also looking the other way after.
Tara was going to have a heart attack. She took a deep breath before turning her head towards him and she shook his hand slightly to make him look back at her. He adored how her face looked when she was nervous like this. It made him want to kiss her cheeks.
"I want to be your girlfriend," she mumbled. There was one blow of wind before Jeongin took her whole hand in his and he scooted a little closer to her.
"Then I'd love to be your boyfriend," he answered with a smile that made his eyes turn into little lines and Tara smiled like an idiot too. "Let's stay a little longer, please?"
She nodded and put her head on his shoulder as they observed the garden, pointing at certain flowers and plants, commenting on them. When the bell finally rang, Jeongin kissed the top of Tara's head before they stood up and went back into the school together. Their hands were still holding onto each other.
