"Aviana get up and go get some berries, please," my mom screamed waking me from a deep sleep.
"Yes ma," I got up and put on some jean shorts and a loose fit tank top. I walked out of my room to the kitchen. I grabbed the basket and my knief and walked outside into the village. Okay so I live in a village with witches and warlocks, my mom and grandma in the middle of the woods. And my mom is the Queen of Werewolves while my grandma is the old Queen. I know you are probably wondering why don't we live in a castle. Well it's because our people went against us. A man who calls himself King Christopher thinks he rules everyone. But there are still people who go against him like in my village. Everyone here is loyal to my mother because she treats them like family and not just her people. When I was a day old Christopher challenged my dad for the throne and my mother. But of course he lost but my dad spared his life, my mom, the Great Witch, grandma and two other witches were the only ones that managed to escape. Because Christopher decided to start a war. Our warriors fought with everything that they were to make sure we could run and hide, to one day be able to come back and finally defeat Christopher since he cheated. We stay hidden until one day we are strong enough to finally take back our lands.
Well I was walking through the woods grabbing berries as I went when I heard a scream of pain. I dropped the basket and ran towards it, when I got close I climbed a tree to see what was happening. Then I saw it was a human getting beaten by shifters. I was so sad I had to do something, well everyone should know not to mess with fire right? I jumped out of the tree onto the ground and fire started under my feet. I heard yelps, "It's a witch run." I heard them screaming. Did I forget to mention since I am the Princess of Werewolves I also have magic. After they were gone the fire went down and I went up to the guy. He had black or really really dark brown hair and blue eyes
"Are you okay?" I asked, bending down close next to him hoping he wouldn't hurt me.
"Please don't hurt me," he whimpered. I can't really blame him most witches now are very cruel because there isn't anyone to defend them.
"I'm not I promise, do you think you can stand up? My village is close by they can help," he nodded his head. "Alright is it okay if I help you?"
"Please do," he said, I helped him sit up and then get to his feet I could sense how much pain he was in. We walked slowly towards the village and I noticed that his arm also looked broken I felt horrible.
When we got into eye sight of the village I saw the children playing, "Kids go get my mother he needs help." They did as I said and I saw a couple of warlocks coming towards us.
"Here let us carry you before you hurt yourself even more," Jarvice said. He was a good man always helping people with anything. He is 18 and a total pain in my butt.
"No I'm fine I can walk," this guy was trying to act tough but that wasn't going to happen.
"Fine if you want to be hard headed then we will do this the hard way," I said he looked at me confused and realized that Jarvice and the other warlock were at his sides ready to catch him. I put one finger on his chest and pushed him back. He whimpered but they carried him to the small medical building. "Lay him down on the bed, my mom should be here soon," I told them. They did as told and left. "Alright I'm going to sit you up and take off your shirt so my mom can take care of you. Is that okay?"
"Yeah, just be careful," he said while I was sitting up.
"Do you even care about this shirt?"
"No not really, why?"
"Because it just might be easier to cut it off because I think your shoulder might be dislocated and your arm looks like it is broken in two places and a rib might be broken or fractured."
