Darrens pov:

I stood at the train station, all of my bags with me. What was I doing? I stood at the station and waited for what seemed like hours before the old grey hound pulled up.

"Five bucks kid." The driver said. I simply nodded keeping my head down and dug around my pockets for a wad of cash and dropped a  twenty into the bin.

The man just stared at it as I grabbed my stuff and took a seat by myself. The doors closed and the wheels started rolling as I stared out the window.

We passed by the school and that's when I saw him; Leo. He was violently running out of the dorm yelling to an unknown source as he covered his face with his hands and dropped to his knees.

I blew off the picture of him crying and placed my head against the glass, mom doesn't even know I'm coming home.

I sighed and closed my eyes drifting into am unconsciousness.

Hours later I awoke in front of a house. As I gathered my things together the bus driver looked at me and smiled slightly, "Tell your mother I said hello. We were friends in highschool." I simply nodded, not caring how he knew where I lived, nor who my mother was.

I walked off the bus and to the front step and hit the button on the intercom. "Who is it." I heard my father's voice demand. "I clicked the button and spoke in return. "Your only pride and joy."

Footsteps and an opened door later my father had me in a tight hug, pulling me inside. "Frank who is it?" I heard my mothers voice ring out from the kitchen.

I leaned my body against the doorway and smiled at her. "Hi Mom." She smiled brightly and dropped a cup in surprise, "Darren! How are you baby?"

I was surrounded in one of the only things to make me feel better besides Leo, one of my mom's hugs. "Not so well. " my mom pulled back from the reply and demanded to know what was wrong.

I sighed and nodded. "Well you see.." I trailed off a bit. She stared me down before lookong into the living room at dad to see if he was looking. "Did something happen between you and Leo?"

I nodded again and bit my lip to keep down any sobs. She just sighed and hugged me tigher. "Dont worry darlin' it'll be alright." I looked up at her and nodded for the last time. "Alright.."

That's when dad walked in and patted me on the back. "Well son, how have you been?" I faked a smile and stood up straight. "I've been great dad." He smiled and nodded, patting my back again. "Very good!"

I nodded and took my things up to my old room, sitting on the bed I sighed and laid down, pressing my face against the familiar pillow.

what am I going to do?
