The next day I felt much better after the encounter with Jean Pierre. He was being very sweet and caring towards me which I was very fond of. Something Descamps never did.
I got out of bed and decided to wear something which will make Descamps regret what he did more and to impress Jean Pierre. I felt like it was time to explore other people. I know it sounds bad that I'm basically using him as a rebound but I brush that thought aside and look for the prettiest and best dress I own.
I decided to pick out a light pink dress with, a white headband, white heels and cardigan. It was a very pretty day today so I knew everything would go smoothly.

I quickly put my things into my bag and head down to meet Simone and Michéle. I see me Simone and she wave in my direction but Michéle is not there.
"Hey Aurelia! How are feeling you better now" she asks concerned. "Yes no need to worry I'm all good but no sign of Michéle" i question. "No I haven't seen her she may be running late" she answers politely.
We walk together slowly since we still have 20 minutes until the gates open. I turn to Simone nervously and say "umm I have something important to say but please hear me out first." Simone looks at me worried but smiles and nods her head.
I explain everything that's happened between me and Descamps and the fact that Jean Pierre was at my house yesterday. She looks at me gob smacked and then yells "I'm gonna kill Descamps for hurting you what a jerk." I let a giggle "so your not mad at me." She looks at me and smiles "why would I be mad at you Aurelia no one can be mad at you."
The weight I've been carrying was lifted off my shoulders and we both carry on walking giggling at the fact that Jean Pierre cares about me. We arrive at school and enter the yard. From the corner of my see the face I hate, he's stare firm, eyeing me from head to toe.
Exactly what I wanted. I didn't pay any attention to him and I see Jean Pierre looking at me with a polite smile. I smile back and give him a wave which he returns. His friends look to see who he was waving at and they all look at me and grin egging him on.
Me and Simone giggle and carry on walking. I could feel eyes burning into the back of my head but I didn't dare to turn around. The bell rang dismissing us to our home room, but before I could walk on I see Jean Pierre grab my hand.
Simone looks at me with a smile and gets the hint to walk away. "I'll see you soon Aurelia" she giggles. "See you" I smile back, I then turn to face Jean Pierre our faces close together. He whispers in my ear "you look extra beautiful today." Good thing no one was around to see us and I blush at his comment. "Thank you, you look rather good yourself" he gives me a cheeky smirk and kisses my cheek. "I'll see you later?" I giggle and say "yes most certainly." With that he leaves.
But what I didn't know was that a certain someone was listening to the whole conversation with his jaw and fists clenched.
