Your recovery felt rougher than it was but every hour crawled by while you were awake, and when you slept it felt light and shallow even if you were out cold. Your body really needed time to heal from what you had put it through and so you and Echo were both forced to remain in the Remora's bunks for most of your waking time. This was especially enforced by your legs which still refused to let you stand on them.

Tech had gotten you and Echo a change of clothes shortly after your request, as well as a light meal so you wouldn't be hungry. Omega had retrieved fresh underwear for you, thus avoiding embarrassment for Tech but he grabbed everything else. Echo was given one of his shirts, it was loose dark gray and short sleeved, no doubt used as an underlayer, and clean underwear. You buried yourself under your blankets while he changed, but Echo is used to stealthily and quickly changing clothes to hide his cybernetic parts.

You were not sure what Tech would grab for you, but he presented you with a huge shirt. Initially Tech had thought to give you one of his own underlayer T-shirts, but decided that while it would be long it would not be long enough, thus you had received one of Wreckers spares. Suffice to say ... It was massive. You slipped it on over top of your outfit and were able to completely change inside of it and under the blanket. Echo still buried himself to make you more comfortable while you changed.

The neckhole was so large that when you centered it, it reached the middle of your shoulders on both sides, and you could guess it came down to your knees when standing. Sometimes you forget just how BIG Wrecker actually is, or any of the clones for that matter. Enhanced humans aren't exactly normal sizes.

Your only concern was that you had received only this shirt and underwear which may have worked for a guy but you quickly felt embarrassed and kept the blanket over your chest or your pillow in front of you. It's not like you were naked, but you didn't feel covered or supported so you were insecure about how you looked. Not to mention you were on a ship full of men ...seven of them to be exact and you didn't want any awkward encounters. The slightest twinge of cold air and you were quickly under the blankets.

This of course was only one of many insecurities that started to take hold while you were recovering. You hadn't shaved your legs since Coruscant , and with your crush literally caring for you it was only a matter of time before Tech would notice. Not to mention you were used to being independent about your care and this just made you feel more weak and helpless then you already felt. No doubt Echo hated that part also.

Echo and you just slept for the most part, usually out for a couple hours at a time throughout various parts of a cycle. Tech would occasionally come in, but he mostly just let you two sleep for the first day of recovery. His primary objective at that point was to keep you out of pain and see that your needs were met.

Your rest was groggy, drifting in and out of focus and you would go from lazily staring at nothing to a weird lucid dream only to jolt awake again. One of these times when you were laying there, your brain aching but not sleeping you could hear Tech checking in on Echo.

Previously whenever you would hear them speak it was always short quips from both men. They liked poking at each other, Echo would joke and Tech would insult him back. If anything it seemed like the two had a healthy distaste of each other. But as you had gotten to lay here, you could hear Tech quietly commenting things to Echo in his sleep.

"Even breathing, steady resting heart rate, lowering fever. You are doing quite well soldier. Soon you'll be back to being a pain"-- he sighed gently "hopefully sooner rather then later".

You remained still, thinking Tech would just walk off, but you heard him adjust his stance--he was now leaning on Echos bunk-- and continue to whisper "you know, Omega misses you substantially. I don't think about it too often to maintain my own composure but it hasn't been the same without you."
