duncan pov:

i look back towards the water and light a cigarette.

did me and courtney really just kiss?

and did i enjoy it?

i get up from the dock and walk over to the fire. 'look who finally shows up!' geoff laughs and finger guns me. 'yeah yeah.' i throw my cigarette into the fire and sit next to them.

i rub my arms , trying to hide the fact i was actually freezing. 'where'd your jacket go , bro?' justin asked me. i blush at the thought courtney still had it.

'someone has it.' i look back to the fire.

'like who?' trent asks, 'that's none of your business.' i reply getting irritated. 'damn, chill-'

'don't tell me to fucking chill!' i yell, 'i'm going back to the cabin.' i sigh.

'or courtney's bed-' i hear alejandro laugh with his friends , justin and lightning. i flip them off.

'hey, shut the hell up man.' geoff defends me.

i get to the cabin and change into shorts and a t-shirt to sleep in and hop into my bunk.

i sit up in the dark and look at my watch;

1:22

i get up off my bunk and look to make sure no one's awake then slip out of the boys cabin and walk over to the girls.

i open the door slightly and look around.

i walk over to a bunk and lift the blanket up.

'mph-' courtney bats her eyes open, 'duncan?' she whispers to me.

'shh.' i reply and slip under the covers beside her, 'hi princess.' i face her.

'hi.' she replies and smiles at me, 'why are you here?'

'to see you,' i start and sigh, 'i need to know what this mean, we kiss twice and you run away.'

'do you even like me?'

another A/N- kinda cliffhanger- also i tried to make alejandro , justin and lightning kinda the mean boys yk? kinda how heather nd lindsay r the 'mean girls'- if that makes sense. y'all prolly got that but idfk 😭
