There was a war. A war between Humans and Mermaids. Humans thought Mermaids were dangerous. Mermaids thought Humans were dangerous. But Mn though different, he though Mermaids were cool, fun, and just amazing. Nothing would change his mind.

"A long time ago there was a war. A war between humans and mermaids. Humans didn't trust mermaids and mermaids didn't trust humans. But do you know why humans don't trust mermaids? Mermaids had an ability. A ability to become human. Which Gave them the ability to walk on land, breathe our air, and manipulate us humans to think they were humans. 100 years ago on this very island mermaids invaded us became humans and tricked us. Ever since that day there has been a war between the land and the sea."
"Do you know why they invaded us?" young m/n asked. "well simple they were cold hearted creatures." "Are all of them like that? What if some of them are nice?" he asked, "All of them are the same." "but how do you know-" " I just do." She cut him off.
As she left the room M/n was just left there with a bunch of more questions he wanted to ask her.
12 years later
M/n was in his room as someone knocked on his door. "Come in!" M/n yelled. It was one of the knights. "Your father wants you to meet him in the main room." He bowed as he told M/n the news. "Tell him I'll be there soon!" M/n said to the guard with a wide smile. As the guard left M/n put his stuff up and headed to his father.
"Hello father. You need me?" M/n questioned. "Yes. Tonight I will need you to watch over your sister." He answered, " Okay! But may I know why?" M/n said with curious eyes. "Well tonight we are going to attack the sea..." "But why? What did they do?" M/n protested, "ugh What do you not understand!?" He yelled which caused M/n to flinch. M/n's father got up and stood closer to M/n. "All I'm saying is you're attacking them for no reas-" M/n's father slapped him leaving a red mark on his face. "M/n just go to your." His father demanded leaving a teary M/n. M/n just listened to him and left.
Time skip
M/n was in his room until someone entered his room. It was his sister, Hong Eunchae. "Hey, Eunchae!" M/n smiles at her. "Hello!" She smiled back, "Do you think what dad is doing is wrong?" M/n said out of the blue, "Yes. Those poor things don't deserve it. But we can't do anything to stop him." She replied. "We can still save them." "How?".
"M/n are you sure this is going to work?" Eunchae questioned. "Positive." He responded and Eunchae nodded. "it's almost time." M/n stated. "It's time I can hear the ships." M/n said, "Go!"
