High School Life Experience

~Part 4~

A/N : I search a poem that relate with a high school student :) And this poem was wrote by an smart student :)

Hope you like the poem. Di po kasi ako magaling gumawa ng poem esp. english poem. ^_^ pasensya po.

"High School"

Sitting in class day dreaming.

Watching the clock tick on and on.

The teacher is talking, but I pretend to listen,

hoping he doesn't bother me.

I sit in all my classes thinking about what I want

to do with my life, and realize that

high school is doing nothing for me.

High School is all about education and learning.

Teacher just want me to pay attention and listen

to what they have to say because it will "help me in life."

But really...

It's doing nothing to educate me on what

I want to do with my life.

I sit there and shake my head and smile,

pretending to care just so they'll

leave me alone.

If you really want me to listen and care

about what you have to say,

teach me something I care about –

something that will really help me succeed in my life.

I would go to school and be willing

to listen and learn about what

interests me.

High School is supposed to get me

ready for the real world.

So teach me something that I want to learn

to help me better myself.

Definitely sometimes or most of the time we go to school to be educated and learned on the lesson that the teacher being teach with us, but only few of that lesson can be use in a real life. Even the subject that they being taught with us, only the basic English, Filipino, Science and Math is being useful in real life.

Most of the time we can't learn by educating our self when we base on real life situation. We can learn a  lot on experiencing our self in different things and go out in our comfort zone. By that time then, sometimes we've done mistakes but that mistakes give's us lesson that we will surely learn a lot.
