~Chapter One~

Beep

The offensive, repetitive chirping from the alarm clock made the young girl groan. (Y/N) slammed her hand down on the alarm clock trying to break it. She could only hope that she didn't have to actually wake up, or that she was still going to her old school.

(Y/N) rolled over in her bed, still wrapped in her blankets like a caterpillar in a cocoon, and looked in the doorway for her older brother. Already annoyed that she had to wait two minutes for him, and he wasn't beckoning to her awakening, (Y/N) got out of bed stretching, letting her blankets fall to the ground.

(Y/N) got dressed in her new school's uniform, which was a light gray blazer over a white button up that also had a teal striped bow. The uniform was also accommodated with a black skirt.

The girl went to the kitchen after being dressed and prepared for school. She sighed knowing that home cooked breakfasts, and meals wouldn't be as often, or as good anymore.

As (Y/N) put her hand on the cold doorknob to leave she heard her brother yawning behind her. She turned around and made a pouty, yet almost mad face at the boy. "I wouldn't have moved in with you if I knew you starved people here," (Y/N) cried.

Rin (L/N) just laughed at the girl and ruffled her hair. (Y/N) smiled warmly towards her brother who she now lived with. 'Maybe it won't be so bad if I get starved, at least I get to see him everyday', she thought.

(Y/N) sluggishly walked to her class, while everyone else was already in class. Before opening the door she straightened her back, and made sure she looked well presented. When (Y/N) opened the door, the teacher gave her their attention, "You must be (L/N) (Y/N), the new student." (Y/N) nodded her head slowly, not in an ashamed manner for being late, but because she was tired.

The teacher gave her a welcoming smile, and proceeded to say, "Well good, you will be sitting next to Bokuto Kotaro-"

"HEY HEY HEY, OVER HERE!!" A boy, who had spiked hair that ombre from light gray to dark gray, had practically yelled which interrupted the teacher.

(Y/N) sighed, hoping to only deal with him for one day, while walking towards her seat that is next to Bokuto. When sitting down she noticed a small folded up paper note on her desk, that was placed down in an unsecretive manner by Bokuto who was giving her a rather large smile.

She returned the smile, and unfolded the note.

'hey hey hey, im bokuto :>'

The girl had a light smile on her face while thinking, 'this will be a fun year.'

(Y/N) began writing on the same paper that Bokuto gave her. The boy leaned over towards her desk, to peek at what she was writing.

(Y/N) handed the paper back, without folding it. Bokuto read

'hi, you should know my name, but im (L/N) (Y/N).... owl head'

Bokuto looked back at (Y/N) with a pouty face, in response she gave a smile and a little wave
